All the fangirls(boys) will cry and moan that the other pillars are stronger (only because they were MaRkED) but my boy Tengen fought an upper moon toe to toe UNMARKED, ONE HANDED, AND poisoned while protecting three of his juniors and his three wives. *PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY BOY TENGEN'S NAME*
No doubts on that, by far, atleast imo, the best arc in the show and manga. Manga was already awesome, but after it got the ufotable treatment, I dont see they topping it anytime soon, specially since they are going heavy on cgi

You know why the other hashira died at the hands of upper moon in the last 113 years because they don't have the plot armor. If the upper moon 6 to 1 go all out from the start and not toying their enemies they will win but you know plot armor that's why they lose.

So much slander for Tengen and this fight puts all the trash talk to sleep. Say what you want but this dude is a beast. Fought the majority of this entire battle while poisoned, lost a hand, an eye, and multiple wounds and stabs and never gave up. Man literally stopped his own damn heart to prevent the poison from finishing him off just so he could get another round with him. Gyutaro was trying to kill him the whole damn time and couldn't get it done. Give the man his flowers. This ain't about who the weakest is, power levels or whose better than who... it's about putting some respect on his name.
Certainly, maybe swordsmith village lack the intense and the excitement of battling against an uppermoon but I think the reason why it became like that is to show the audience how powerful the demon slayer mark is.

Just give attention to small details. You will know how underrated tengen is, For example Did you watch how tanjiro was struggling and almost out of breath because of gyutaro poison in a minute. And then there is tengen lasted the whole battle with that poison💀and faught gyutaro with equal speed with only one hand without a f*cking mark🔥what a legend.. also early in the fight he took on siblings 2v1, casually beheading daki and nearly reached gyutaro’s neck too.. not only that Season 3 ep1 they showed tengen with the help of his wives walks through the battle area instantly just after the poison was removed.. they mentioned what unreal durability “how can he even stand with these injuries “ whereas it took almost 2 months for everyone to wake up from there injuries.. not to mention tengen was the one with the most brutal injuries.. He will always be in top5 no matter what you say.. but but “he faught um6 and bearly defeated him” watch his skills and abilities that he showed us in this fight while staying in base form is ridiculously insane.. also gyutaro was stronger then his position(potential to be higher ranked).. i see only gyomei/sanemi/giyu better then him..
It's sad tbh,but there are many added fight scenes of Uzui in anime which is not in manga. The original fight is certainly short in manga.He's certainly too nerfed in manga,dunno why maybe the mangaka were biased with him,but thanks to Ufotable,they slot in many clutch fight scenes of Uzui and that lit fight sequence against Gyutaro. Therefore,manga readers tend to rank him lower than Rengoku and Mitsuri. Tell me mann,did we even see a single form of Sound Breathing🙄. It's too unlucky if we see on Uzui's behalf

Dont know about ranking of strongest or fastest hashiras but when it comes to durability and stamina maintained, tengen is the best. Look at his body, if it was a normal hashira body he would already diead but my man decapitated of his left arm, got poisoned, eye got cut but still had the will to fight.
tengen may not be one of the strongest hashira but he can easily kill most of the hashira except sanemi and gyomei coz he is a shinobi, an expert in killing humans.
