Gazza brought something magical to the game that no player has ever managed to do. His humor in the game was brilliant. Football sure misses Gazza. I do too👍⚽️🏴
Childhood trauma, he needed proper help, but in our society finding a therapist who understands CPTSD is difficult. People then wrongly assume it is genetic.
its a shame . he was such a gifted footballer, and one of the greatest players ever to play in Scotland.. and to grace football all over the world I believe he would have benefited from getting help earlier. but when you are a success on the field, and you are top of the world, his problems were not addressed by himself and those close to him.Surely the individual clubs could have tried to help him?He was and always will be a football genius.
Thanks for uploading this :) I remember another couple documentaries about him like Gazza V Gaddafi which followed Middlesborough FC doing a pre tournament in Libya at the request and financial funding of Gaddafi. Also another one called Gazza Goes To China which followed his ill fated adventure over to play with Gansu Tianma. You don't happen to have either of these or does anyone know where these are for me to watch? Thanks
I had the totally opportunist chance to spend a couple of hours chatting to Gazza about 18 ish years ago. In fact I didn't even notice him - I was having a drink in a hotel near Hoddesden in North London and the work colleague I was having a drink with said 'is that Gazza over there - naturally I told my colleague to F off and stop taking the Piss! However yes it was, he had been playing in a Spurs charity match, there he was, 10 yards away from me! Well naturally being a Norwich fan I was not particularly exited!!! Of course I was, and nobody else was left in the bar, and after Gazza's natural suspicion that I was some sort of reporter, we sat on the same table and shared a few drinks. All I can tell you is what a lovely, normal guy he was. So whatever you hear/see in the press is, in general, shit! Opportunistic moments that they play in their favour, I didn't see any of that in him (don't get me wrong, we had many laugh's, neither of us were up for the next pope!). Please give the guy a break now folks and let him live his life.
His brother in law was our drummer, his sister had her own bottle of vodka under the table at gigs, they drank like fish as well, she asked my wife what she was doing with an old guy like me, cheeky git
Gazza one of my favorite players as a kid would of gone down as one of the best ever if not for the demon drink. I no as a addict my self how the drink will take away everything u love. By 1:50, can already tell it's a blatantly discompassionate, sensationalist video. Won't watch any more. Have already gained an unintended insight of what the guy was up against...
Me too. I only made it through the pre-titles up to the 1:00 mark. Dreadful start...trashy, cynical narration. Abandoned it at the title frame. There are proper long grown-up documentaries on Gazza elsewhere on YT as you probably know. :)
Unfit, injury riddled, crazy behaviour, Yet still the best English football player I’ve seen brilliant, genius, typical North East lad was a pleasure to watch him play football. All the best Gazza was great watching you play football world beater.

inside the mind of gascoigne? daft as a brush, could not cope with the hype like the wild tackle when he did his knee in the cup final. But the most gifted footballer of his generation.
There's a theory called Positive Disintegration, relates giftedness to regular breakdowns. For Gazza, Best, and Maradona, it's mainly just been disintegration, nothing positive about it.
Nothing?. Pfa young player of the year PFA team of the year. Bbc sports personality, Fifa all star team of the year uefa team,England and Scotland Hall of fame grow up.
not a lot inside his mind, empty space i think. he had it all, far more than most of us will ever get, he had ability, looks, good team mates, a wife and kid, and he pissed it all away, and people feel sorry for him, since his football career ended, hes had nothing, he never seems to want a career, hes just a waster who should have done a lot better with his life,
You should hope that you aren’t unlucky enough to experience anything similar where addiction / mental problems are concerned. Because if you are, by your cold hearted way of thought then you will 100% fucked
It's a disgrace that he was let off sticking his tongue down a commuters throat. A disgrace! See the case of a poor shy boy that touched a girls arm, yes arm and he's waiting on his sentence for sexual assault. He admited kissing a woman. Advances she didn't welcome and he gets off. So the justice system has given everyone life with the same intent to go sexually assaulting women on trains. He showed no remorse and added insult to injury. The victim should sue in the civil courts!! Vile!

when he played for england you knew anything was possible.
Wish he had have signed for united, genuinely believe fergie could have helped steer him in the right direction
Cruze Moore I doubt it. You can’t tame people like that.
I think that's why he never signed for United, because at that point in time, he didn't want to be controlled for Ferguson.
