Oscar Blanco I'm sorry to hear that Oscar. He was obviously a very brave man. My dad has had a cough for years, I've often wondered if it was from his job.
how deeply heartbreaking and devastating it must be for these amazing firefighters to hear people screaming for help, screaming for their lives and not be able to help them ! it takes a very special kind of person to do what these men and women do and thank whoever or whatever that we have so many of them willing to do all that they can to the point of total exhaustion to then still push on and try to save people they don't even know, totally selfless and heroic !!!! they all deserve a bravery medal ! as do some of the police officers and other people who also did an amazing job trying to help people escape the fire. my very deepest sympathy goes to everyone affected by this terrible fire.
This is a real tragedy I feel for firefighters police paramedics for the horrific horrors they have to face..ALLAH GIVE THEM PATIENCE AND ENDURANCE AND TO ALL THE FAMILIES..AMEEN..
listening to this man brought real hart felt tears to my eyes, we must not let those evil basterds devide us on this one, all people must stay focused and united in order for us to get real Justice,,,,,
I know Fire Fighters are trained to go into fires, so people without training it's not allow to help save people, But Is there anything the people can do to help in those kind of situations? I´d hate to be standing by and do nothing, there must be something. Don't get me wrong I'm not criticizing. I know people help with cloth and water, encouragement, directing the firefighter to the right flat. I just wonder what else could people do, things that perhaps for the untrained in fire rescue scape us and could really be a help to fire Fighters.
Why isn't the station commander being held accountable? This was on his patch and he should have knew and tried to condemn this building?? The government are not as to blame as people think because they only have fire officers that are really just slightly trained up employees but the fire service is where they get there dos and donts from. The local station commander is heavily responsible trust me. Look in that direction for blame and answers.
First the UK response was very poor how could they use the stay put policy whilst they saw how the fire was quickly spreading I guess they should have put air cushions down tso that people would jump down and order everyone in the 19-floor to the 21st floor to go on top of the tower then helicopter s come and scurry them away this is UK Not d damn somalia
Lord have mercy I'm broken. The story about the 5 year old, that firefighter I want to give him a hug. Running through the building to save people's lives and risk there own in the process. No one is super human but these men and women are incredible.
I respect your conviction. I may say, these are living persons, not heroes. They do a hard and dangerous work. I appreciate. Named them hereos is a ambivalent term. The term heroes let me think about american politic in times of war (Vietnam). The worst the war was, the more heroes exist. All soldiers are named heroes. To keep the relatives and the people of USA silent? In real life, a heros in war is 5 minutes later, thrown on his own life, forgotten by governement, wellfare, healthcare and any living person. Told someone as a hero is propanda. Had a grandfather. A real nice and lovely person. The sun of my whole life until he died as I was 16. He came home from 2 WW wounded. And there rest in family nothing from towards propanda of heroes. There was a broken life and a broken family. Please be conscious: heroes doesn't exist. They are made. Peace. Me
*I have always wondered how these guys are handling all the horror they are witnessing. Whatever they are paid, it's not enough. May God bless them all. 🌷*
i honestly dont want to imagine how the firefighters feel and what they've seen, the same goes for the witnesses and families. What happend there was a huge crime and one das the responsible ones going to have to answer for what they did. May Allah swt bless the victims
suga delrey racism? Is allah a race? Is islam an ethnic group? Well done for trying that one! It's a ridiculous ideology that DEMANDS muslims not to integrate.....but I'm the "racist"?
suga delrey islam is the third totalitarian ideology that threatens humanity. It is a pernicious and deceitful ideology, which disguises itself perfectly since it is part “religion”.Islam is more than a religion(the religious part of islam is only about 18%), IT IS A COMPLETE CIVILIZATION including politics and laws.IN ISLAM, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STATE AND THE RELIGION.There is no separation of church (mosque) and state. So, the religion is the state, and the state is the religion, they are one and the same. All laws are already written in the koran and in the sunna. This means: the mosque decides and the imam rules… Islam sees the world as eternally divided into two opposing camps:1.) Dar al-Harb (land of war, ruled by the infidels)…..2.) Dar al-Islam (land of peace, ruled by muslims)…Any country that is not islamic and not ruled by muslims is seen as a land of war.Europe belongs to the Dar al-Harb and MUST be subjugated.THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF ISLAM IS TO DOMINATE AND CONTROL THE WORLD AND TO ESTABLISH THE SHARIA WORLDWIDE…
Susan Its up to God who goes to heaven and who goes to HELL God will Judge every single person whether Muslim or non Muslim. My thoughts and prays to all the victim's who died Muslim's and non Muslim.
Most traumatic thing any 5 year old has had to see and witness, it should never have happened, it makes me blood boil as this was totally preventable in 2017, one would expect something like this to have happen in 1940s as they never had the technology, the expertise or infrastructure in place back then. In 2017 is disgusting, this should be a criminal investigation and those at K&C council and contractors who installed this if found guilty should be held on manslaughter.
These brave brave people did all they could. It breaks my heart to think how they believe the didn't do enough. They saved many many lives that night and they should be proud of all the work and effort they put in. This whole story is so heartbreaking, even in Australia, I remember turning on the TV and wondering what movie it was, until I realised, this was actually happening. Thought and prayers with the families and people affected by this tragedy.
Kate Emily they done what they could they risked their own lives many would walk away these people are heroes and always have been where was may when this happened nowhere near
i heard that three firefighters who went to rescue a 12-year old girl on the 20th floor were unable to find her. Unknown to them, she had moved up to a flat on the 23rd floor, was on the phone to a control operator who had no means of knowing what the firefighters were doing, and later died in this location.
may Mighty Allah grant Sabbr to all those relatives who had lost Thier beloved ones ..And keep all of us safe from this kind of incidents and accicidents Ameen sum Ameen inshaAllah 🙁..my heart just broken and shocked .
What a wonderful courageous stand up fella it must have felt like a lifetime battling the blaze for hours the exhaustion alone must have been excruciating it maybe their profession of choice but they all went above & beyond & most defiantly should be honored
As someone who wants to be a firefighter in the future. What they went though is a firefighter’s absolute nightmare, they tried so hard and went beyond they boundaries trying to get people out of that blaze but even that wasn’t enough. And the only thing what we saw was the number of dead which was already terrible, but they saw the dead one by one which are scars they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.
I am very sad for the little boy that said my brother is in the flat but dead I must have been so hard for the people who were in their and also the firefighter who tried helping people to get out .
I am guessing the roof was sealed off, so no way to use helicopters either? This is a story about prevention. Firefighters and residents could not do much at this stage. It was all stacked up against them at this stage. I don't even know if a lesson will be learned. Most of London burned centuries ago, and here we are again, housing hundreds in unsafe buildings.
what happens when the firefighters jobs are reduced, they are delayed to their mission and life's are lost. It's simply not their fault. Well done Mayor Boris
All emergency services especially the fire brigade, paramedics, doctors, nurse's anyone who Save's lives including the police should be paid a lot more just like an MP who wouldn't know a proper days work if it hit them in the face.
having been in the building trade for some 40 years as a specifier and scheduler of architectural ironmonger and within that i had to ensure all architectural ironmongery (locks and handles)complied with all fire and DDA regulations ,I also recall that all the public use buildings had to be passed by a fire offices that would review all aspects of fire escape and the materials including fire doors and escape routes based on the flow of escaping people, the fire brigade and their fire officers are the people responsible for signing off the building as safe and they had the legal rights to demand further work to be done if they considered it must be improved ,it has to be asked why did the fire service's fire officers sign off a building that used none fire retardant materials ,they may have rescued people from that building but they also may be responsible for an inadequate assessment of fire movement scenarios around fire proof room cells, if a council or architect tried save money at the cost of safety the fire offices can override any consideration of cost to ensure the safety of people in a building they have the last word on it
unnecessary people made to die this way! shame on on the people who are responsibil directly indirectly. we should have seen people arrested for this, start from the council leader of the borough. another cover-up in the expences of poor people made to die!
Be agree. Wish to propose another punish: Take them all of their money and goods to support the victims. Let they live from yet to death with 409 €/month (The limit of Hartz IV in Germany, so many people suffered.) Cut the punish, when concious wakes up.
Here in Sweden even if we dont have sprinklers installed in our building they atleast give everyone in every appartment a fire extinguisher for free so every family hade one just in case of emergency its sad that they dident atleast pitch that idea!!!!
it just goes to show how important people like fire fighters and police officers are. Without them wading selflessly into the fire there would be many many more casualties. God bless all the brave men and woman that make our nation a safe place.
TBH I could never be any type of an emergency person because if I were to see some one die I would not be able to go on with life. Especially in that type of circumstance.
The firefighter mentions how he would have broken the rules if he had this fire again, the reason why they have rules is to make sure he and his fellow firefighters go home too. Completely selfless, we really do have amazing people on this earth.
Darren Walters yeah but sometimes these health and safety rules are bollocks, like the unmanned hose - a trained firefighter is much better with a hose than an automated one. And at the end of the day it is their job...

Fire fighters don't get enough credit
Lord Of frog I totally agree well said spot on
Grace Boothman that's not true i saw them dousing at, at least 2am.
They ran into that furnace that takes a special kind of courage
Go back to shill central on 4chan
Lord Of frog they have the guts to go in and risk their lives. They also have to search for the missing people.
So true!
firefighters deserve so much more respect and backing from our country. Give these heroes the salary they deserve. Brave men.
My dad served for 30 years as a firefighter in London Fire Brigade.
Sherbet Pip your dad is a hero
Where were the nets or air cushions so people could jump out and at least have a small chance of surviving?
Pippie5555 they couldn't put air cushion around building due to amount of burning debris that was falling
Oscar Blanco I'm sorry to hear that Oscar. He was obviously a very brave man. My dad has had a cough for years, I've often wondered if it was from his job.
Sherbet Pip should get that checked out
2:45 what that little boy said broke my heart.. how the firefighter got past that moment I do not know.. that impacted me..
how deeply heartbreaking and devastating it must be for these amazing firefighters to hear people screaming for help, screaming for their lives and not be able to help them ! it takes a very special kind of person to do what these men and women do and thank whoever or whatever that we have so many of them willing to do all that they can to the point of total exhaustion to then still push on and try to save people they don't even know, totally selfless and heroic !!!! they all deserve a bravery medal ! as do some of the police officers and other people who also did an amazing job trying to help people escape the fire. my very deepest sympathy goes to everyone affected by this terrible fire.
I've been watching the enquiry and trust me its blatant manslaughter by those responsible for the negligence.
This is a real tragedy I feel for firefighters police paramedics for the horrific horrors they have to face..ALLAH GIVE THEM PATIENCE AND ENDURANCE AND TO ALL THE FAMILIES..AMEEN..
time for justice now these poor people will never be forgotten R I P and the little angel's
They put there life's at risk day in day out, people who thought they could of done more, are lost in space
very very brave men risking there lives for others I really feel for them x
The firefighters were victims of this tragedy as well. See if they can get better working conditions, and more equipment
God Bless all the Fire Brigade. This is so upsetting 😢😢😢😢😢😢💔
listening to this man brought real hart felt tears to my eyes, we must not let those evil basterds devide us on this one, all people must stay focused and united in order for us to get real Justice,,,,,
we would be nothing without the help of our services.Hearts all out to the tough guys (firefighters)
I love u all. God bless u all! 🌸❤️
dont blame 1 man. hes not at fault

They set the fire on purpose.

:'( so sad
I just posted a video where a fireman claims they found '42 bodies in one room huddled together' check it out on my channel!!!!!
I agree
Fire fighters get a quarter of the salary to that of an MP... one saves lives whilst the other takes them... where is the justice in that?
Lord have mercy I'm broken. The story about the 5 year old, that firefighter I want to give him a hug. Running through the building to save people's lives and risk there own in the process. No one is super human but these men and women are incredible.
it's sad
I burst out in tears when he mentioned that 5 year old who's brother died
FenZik Snipex me too tears in my eyes.
Believe it or not the firefighter telling the story is actually my uncle

aliyah iqbal I gathered that !
its just what muslims say like "god bless" the person didn't mean to be provocative by it
the gallantry of fire fighters will always have my respect.
I am from Canada, would like to know exactly which fire departments were / are involved so I can send them a message of love and thanks..
Poor Poor people they did not deserve this . May ALLAH Grant them a place in HEAVEN.

God thanks for ur service! X
No wonder so many of those firefighters and other first responders ended up with PTSD.
My question is how can the govt not think of installing escape ladders at a residential building like that?!?
There out of date and its safer to use a turntable ladder and great respect to the firefighters
Imagine what the London blitz was like? This was going on every night.
All emergency services especially the fire brigade, paramedics, doctors, nurse's anyone who Save's lives including the police should be paid a lot more just like an MP who wouldn't know a proper days work if it hit them in the face.

Robin GSNR I'm pretty sure that due to financial restraints, the fire service no longer have any responsibility to sign buildings off anymore.
True heroes in my eyes. Hope they get all the recognition they deserve.
Thanks firefighters. This is very sad

Congratulations for the brigade .
Respect voor deze mannen en vrouwen, die alles hebben geprobeerd, de rest is so sad.
salute to all the firefighters true heroes xx
hard hitting.. in a non selfless way. fire service done an epic job..❤

great job well done
god bless to them all real hero's ❤💛
respect and love firefighters
This are the real heros
Still never forgetting in June 2020 :(
not all heroes wear capes!!#firefighters
God bless them all for all they do
true hero's
Firefighters deserve the world, such brave courageous people.
TBH I could never be any type of an emergency person because if I were to see some one die I would not be able to go on with life. Especially in that type of circumstance.
This is the type of event that will stay with them forever.
:(

Darren Walters yeah but sometimes these health and safety rules are bollocks, like the unmanned hose - a trained firefighter is much better with a hose than an automated one. And at the end of the day it is their job...
God protect the firefighters
why they didint sent a bucket elicopter back up? your superiors must know that the ladder was not going to reach.. they are widely used everywhere..
f.bruno dj widely used for forrest fires which is gine because tipping tonnes of water on trees is ok but people it could actualy crush them and the blades would give the fire more oxygen
John Richards oh so it's okay for helicopters to fly there and film people dying, but not to help take down the fire. Amazing!
The helicopters have cameras with a massive zoom lens so they are nowhere near it just seems close
lol
Ok.. Shocking to ear UK doesn't have it! .. well If i was inside that tower I rather have died crushed by the structure rather than burned alive
Wasn't there a rescue on the rooftop possible? Did They ever have a firedrill? So sad for this man and his collegues.
What would happen if the wind also matter on that time. (for example 5 beaufort)
Than there were maybe 1000 people dead.
But it was silence> a luck with a drama.
:) For the fire people who did all they could.
Real heroes..
