- NC State Baseball and Kentucky Baseball played in the opening round of the 2024 College World Series. Bracket play is a 4 team double elimination setup (like regionals), with the winner advancing to the best of 3 College World Series Finals.

The best part of my work as a UA-camr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other UA-camrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

@berkpwn I’m assuming you’re talking about the check swing call? Extremely close, they still had to get multiple hits after that tho and they did indeed walk it off.. Not sure it’s cheating when the ump made the call… I’m not a Vols fan either but to call it “cheated” seems dramatic

These first games - wow.
These teams are as good a group as I've seen (and I've been watching the CWS for a lot of years).
The Cats went unbeaten against Western Michigan, Illinois, & Indiana State in winning the Lexington Regional. They wept Oregon State 2-0 in their best of three Super Regional, and now have began their first ever trip to Omaha for the College World Series with a win over N.C. State. So far, the post season has been very kind to Kentucky. Well done indeed. GO CATS!!

People don't realize Kentucky would or made it to Omaha last year if they didn't met up with LSU in Super regional in baton rouge. This is coming from an lsu fan that understands a talented team when they see one.

This Kentucky team plays great defense, has timely hitting, runs the bases well, plays small ball and gets outs on the mound. They don't have any true superstars but a group of players that have bought into playing as a team and trusting in each other. They're fun to watch!

I watched some of this College World Series. Why is everyone on the team rich white kids named Cody, Tyler or Landon. Makes me sick to see the lack of diversity. I wont be watching any of it again!
