I am 75yo. Everyday before I go to bed, I listen this rendition of Khwaja by the Thaikkudam Bridge. It helps me falling into deep sleep much easier. Compared to the original, here I can see the emotions of the singer right on their faces. (I understand that in the original movie, A R Rahman sang this song and the actors were just lip singing, I may be wrong; I stand corrected).
We have to forget and keep all the religion,caste and creed aside when listening to this song! Ultimately we are all Indians, let's be United and start encouraging such singers/Artists. I always loved listening to sufi songs. 'Khwaja mere khwaja' and 'kun faya kun' are my most favourite of my all. Thanks to AR rahaman for this wonderful composition.
While I know myself as a creation of God, I am also obligated to realize and remember that everyone else and everything else are also God's creation. Its easy to find what’s wrong but really hard to find what’s right. We need to see how these guys have interpreted the song but not based on one’s own yardstick. I am 75yo. Everyday before I go to bed, I listen this rendition of Khwaja by the Thaikkudam Bridge. It helps me falling into deep sleep much easier. Compared to the original, here I can see the emotions of the singer right on their faces. (I understand that in the original movie, A R Rahman sang this song and the actors were just lip singing, I may be wrong; I stand corrected).
We have to forget and keep all the religion,caste and creed aside when listening to this song! Ultimately we are all Indians, let's be United and start encouraging such singers/Artists. I always loved listening to sufi songs. 'Khwaja mere khwaja' and 'kun faya kun' are my most favourite of my all. Thanks to AR rahaman for this wonderful composition.
