I grew up using Haulover inlet. It’s not a big deal for anyone exhibiting a little restraint on the throttle, not overloading the boat, not bow riding through there and timing cuts your risk as well. Tidal changes make it like the Colorado river at times. Smaller boats often use the less turbulent water on either side to transit. The danger has always been there for those who aren’t paying attention.
I’ve been watching Niz clips here from Victoria, Australia and I’m at a loss and a massive amazement watching the title current waves on that in/outlet Cray Cray. We don’t got anything like that here in Victoria if we did the there those days doing what you do love the clips bro, mad vibes, keep it going🎉

Bad enough with a lot they are on eBay and having a shower. Imagine being out in those waves up there all day fishing there trying to have a shower you end up knocking yourself out on the tile wall. Each summer, here in southern New Jersey, I retrieve debris floating whenever I see it while boating. Mylar balloons are high up on the list! They should ban them like they do so many other things, likes straws and plastic bags!!!!

I've boating in Florida my whole life ruff seas I don't go... that ocean has no forgiveness!! My dad's friends drowned on lake George in the 80s withe same kind of boat we had old timer skip Jack
It is of course not good to throw plastic cups into the ocean. But every video I watch, I see fishing boats with sometimes even 6 times a 450 hp outboard motor. We are talking about fishing boats here with only a babyboomer captain, 5 fishing rods and 3 slim bikini models on board. How good is that for the environment?
