Hey guys, where is everyone watching from? 🌎
Michigan
chicago
Vancouver bc
NY
New Zealand
When you saw the ladder down on the bow, you knew what was coming.
Stern ladder too!
I know absolutely nothing about boats and I thought that looked wrong when I noticed it
Crazy lol
Came here to say this!
It screams Credit Card Captain all day !
No diver down flag, creating an unreasonable navagational hazard, engines on and in gear with a diver hanging off the boat....good stuff.
Fortunate that no one was chopped by the prop. Idiots!
No practical experience with watercraft, posting from Arizona (although a surprising number of people here own boats...🤷♂️), and my thought was "What the [deleted] is he doing?! There's a diver hanging off his stern and he's running the engines!!!"
Cocaine and boats
Hey why is the water red all of a sudden? Oops! We chopped Bob’s legs off!
Looked little overloaded
I love watching these videos. As a long time boater, on the W. Coast, rivers and lakes, watching these smaller boats, that are over loaded with ppl, not wearing life jackets to get across the bar, is Insane to me.
love the way the spear-guns get pointed at people as they put them away ..
that whole crew was questionable.
I saw that also. If it didn't kill him, imagine what it would feel like getting that spear dug out of him.
Yeah, Floridiots
Yes, the cardinal sin of 'tagging'.
I counted at least three covers, one of which was centre of mass . . .
Not only did they point them at their mates they were locked and loaded so 1 mistake and DOA.
I don't know crap about boats but I love watching this channel.
That 102 foot Leopard tho ... ❤
Yeah, that boat is gorgeous 😍
Named, appropriately, "U Wish"
Hell yeah, I do.
Yes a rental, and the auto bilge is not working.
The Robalo "captain" needs a ticket, NEVER EVER engage props when anyone is off board. For christ sakes.
Even in neutral the props still spin. Enough to rip you up good
The captain is irresponsible. Ticket indeed
@@heathercruickshanks4296 Never mind that, go back and look at the way the loaded spear guns are being handled . . .
@@marvindebot3264 Each one placed down pointing at the other guy. This boat driver-not a damn captain-and divers couldn't have done anymore wrong if they'd of tried.
He's not a ''captain"... he's a GOOGAN!
A boater who, whether intentionally or not, acts with pure stupidity, obliviousness, or blatant disregard for other boaters, anglers, marine laws, and the environment. The definition varies slightly within local cultures, customs, and acceptable behaviors of an area, but at the core-googans do dumb shart. Idiots on the water... they are dangerous, oblivious and lack experience operating boats & all the things required to do safely when operating boats.
They are FUNNY AS H3LL, to watch, when they do dumb shart , that is not jeopardizing anyone's LIFE.
The captain in that Nauticstar had no idea the danger he put himself and others in . Can't believe the ignorance of people . These types of open bow boats should be restricted to inland ponds and lakes not sea worthy
he is not a captain, just the boat operator
Is that why he got into sht? The boat is meant for lakes?
@@anthony4562 that’s one reason, hull design
People in the water at the stern and the engines are running and in gear!? Divers down with no dive flag? Never mind the spear fishing in an active waterway. Where are the Coasties when you need them?
Spearfishing - in an area with a lot of traffic and where you will likely drift close to a rocky shore. This forces the skipper to risk the divers' lives and limbs in order to prevent paint scratches and bent props. One of the unbreakable rules on my boat - engines off when swimmers are near the stern. If the boat is at risk by maintaining that rule, then I did something stupid or unavoidable - but the boat will take the hit instead of the swimmers.
It's also illegal to spear fish a jettei for just this reason.
This happened a few years ago down here in Miami, i'll give you the short version. It was a public holiday, (I forget which, it's unimportant) where there are a lot of people out on the water with their boats. There's a sandbar where a lot of boaters congregate to hangout and party, etc. One captain got stuck on the sandbar, got caught by low tide i guess, recruited some nearby swimmers to push him while he's gunning the engines and as you might have guessed, one kid got too close to one of the props and sadly he didn't survive his injuries. I don't know what are the thought processes that leads anyone to assume that was a good idea. Could have called sea tow, could have waited for high tide. I don't know....looking to place blame is pointless now. I just wish people would use more common sense and caution when boating. Those spearfishers were in the water in a high traffic inlet with no swimmer in water flag (you know, the red flag with the diagonal white stripe) to alert passing boaters to their presence. They were lucky....this time.
OMG!!!!! The driver , I referred to him as driver yes because he doesn't deserve to be referred to as captain, is a complete imbecile. Also not to mention they have no diver in the water flag to warn anyone.
@@sweeptheleg. I watched horrified. How can they be so stupid? If the boat rocks unexpectedly, such as from a passing boat wash, those guys would be off the stern and into the props. Lethal.
Agreed it seemed like a risky place to do that but they DID look like they knew what they were doing and in sync with the driver.
The captain of the Robalo puts the boat in gear with two people sitting on the swim platform and one still in the water. WTF???!!
That was crazy and scary
I don’t know diddly about boats and the rules, but even a certified moron should know that was insane! Scared me, seeing that!
Yep, saw the same thing, there's no way he knew if the props were clear. WTF!
He was born stupid and never improved with age
I've never been on a boat but even I know that's as stupid as it gets 🙄🙄. So much could have gone wrong 🤦♂️🤦♂️.
Let's see here. Deploy bow and stern ladders, trim the motor all the way in and put some weight up front. Then proceed to take a lake boat into the ocean.👍
If you want to know why that "NauticSta" was plowing so badly look no further then at 1:16 where you can clearly see the engine trim position was the problem. Too many people going out on boats that have no idea what they are doing. At least in round 2 they brought the swim ladders in properly. Now lets look at some real geniuses: at 4:58 see three guys spear fishing in the middle of the inlet with a guy a few feet away from spinning props. You just can't make this stuff up.
Trim wouldn't help him since he's treating the Inlet like a no wake zone!! lol
Mystery boat #2 is an Aquasport.
It has to be a rental, I never even saw a bilge pump kick on. And cap didn't have any of the children in life jackets.
Definitely a Freedom Boat Club operator
Guys getting on and off next to those outboard motors running was making me nervous. good way to get a leg cut off.
Mystery is a Viking 37 Bill Fish. The first boat's bilge pumps weren't working, so don't think it could be a rental.
Float switches get stuck on rentals too.
Round 2: Life vests anyone
Kids: Hold my Kool-ade
No flag, hanging on the back with motor going... Darwin wins every time!!!!
The keystone cops of spear fishing.🤨lucky no one on shore took a rod.😂🏴☠️⚔️😁
I'm new to watching these boat vids through the mysterious UA-cam algorithm and enjoying it.
Question : those type of boats that dip in the front like the first one...... Would it make sense to have everyone at the rear to keep the front up? 🤷♂️ or not? 🤔
Of course it would. Any good captain would do that. Also motor is trimmed all the way down, pushing the bow down even further. Too many people on that boat for those conditions too.
@@satunnainenkatselija4478 Exactly.
Yes ,but some of these people that are driving are rentals. They go on vacation take too many people on a boat. Don't use life preservers have no idea what they're doing. Yes one of the mistakes is putting too many passengers in the bow that's just one of their mistakes. There are other ways of keeping the bow up in choppy waters but not being a boater I don't want to get into the details with you.
The best thing to do would be don't rent or buy one. These people are absolutely stupid. They aren't fishing or diving so they have no need to go out in the ocean in the first place, much less in a boat not designed for it. Putting a bunch of kids in a bow rider and taking it out of the inlet just for sh!ts and giggles is insane.
Reverse sheer, open bow...... pure genius!
Bay Boats, good for pulling skiers, that's all.
Best boat Channel on youtube
Tell the cop at the end his bow lights are not working.
I've had that ticket before. He needs one!!! :) :)
Great channel. Love the content.
Some of these guys need to be charged for such recklessness and endangering lives.
But, but, freedumb!
Mystery boat: SS Minnow. A 3-hour cruise. A 3-hour cruise.
Love how that 1 dummy tries to play it off like he's looking at the trim tab.🧐🏴☠️⚔️
Lucky the boat didn't crush your skull
Tune in next week! They'll be scraping barnacles off there boat at haulover!😂
Yeah I was just going to say he's not even running his bilge pumps
Great stuff👍
BEAUTIFUL
More videos like this please.
More on the way! 👍
From eastern PA... Spear fishing in the inlet .. swimming around the props!? 😬 Yikes!
Jay the Florida pool pump motor repair guy When Service Calls Longwood approved ! that was good info 2 See 👨🔧Wavy Boats
The teal colored Nautic Star had the motor trimmed all the way down no wonder the bow was stuffing
The unidentified vessel is clearly Jack Sparrows black pearl.
You could see that whole center console flex with that seevee.😂
I went back and watched again and still missed it. Is it the one with the tuna tower?
@@Stephen85 yes.
Don’t know what ur talking about lol
Guys, that is a new style of boat that has a jacuzzi in the bow.
The captain is a DA.
At least now we don't have to wonder why accidents happen do we
Nice 👍
10:00 mystery boat without a cowling.. lol!!
Guy had that motor tucked hard, like he wanted to take on water. Get the bow up!!!! Trim it out!!
Watching from Viginia 👋
That boat at 10:00 is a Aquasport.
And looking at the stripes I would guess early to mid-80's...
And he had the outboard cover off…. Splashing salt water in there… can’t be good…?
Fisherman Joe was coming through the inlet !!!!
Swimming for any reason in the middle of an active inlet takes a special kind of stupid.
[starts out with ladder down] yup, yup all be shipshapes, captun
Thumbs up if you check your bilge pumps before heading out. Where were that guy's?
Mystery boat # 1 looks like a Viking Bill Fish 36 ,mystery boat # 2 looks like a Wellcraft step V20 with a bracket
#2 not Wellcraft, an old Aquasport
@@greggcarlson679 It’s possible aquasport and wellcraft were made in the same Genmar factory some of the models even shared the same mold
@@johnbumpus7138 not sure, but that Aquasport is not the same hull as the V20. The V20 has much more bow flare.
the fun would be better if they wore life jackets
Scary - I never saw any sign of the bilge working considering the amount of water they took on...
Wavy boats was going to do two videos today but these guys killed his carma! 🧐🏴☠️⚔️
I’m sure this is a stupid question. Have you ever recorded when a boat sank in that harbor? I don’t know anything about boats but love watching your videos
yes there are videos
Depends on what you mean by "sink". I don't think there's been one that went to the bottom but there have been a few that have been flooded and needed towing.
I don't know about rental but it will be an artificial reef before long!
Spearfishing in the inlet, can't be legal. Did you see the way he was handling those loaded spearguns? He covered his mate 2 or 3 times!
Many of these captains don't understand how to adjust the trim on their outdrive!
Leopart boat yang cantik sekali
I have a feeling where in for a 2 video day!💡🥺
They wouldn’t put bilge pumps on this thing if they didn’t want us to use ‘em.
Mystery Boat #2 - perhaps a larson?
Spearfishing? I thought they were looking for a Contact Lens........... Those props are like a Cuisinart
Spear fishers are trying to get on Best Gore.
It's the shape of the boat. The nose angles down
Trim is in the SCOOP POSITION
Oh god that ladder
Jeez. No diving flag. Hanging on the back with those spinning things so close…. I was a kid fifty years ago I guess. Lake Candiohi in MN on vacation. I remember they had a photograph on a bulletin board at a lodge on the lake of someone who had been hit by a prop while swimming and died. Slash marks across their back. A black and white photo. It was a warning sign. That long ago and so vivid.
The spear guys are not ok in the head, if the guy on the back of the boat goes overboard he most likely hits one of the props… the 1e one has no business there at all.
Oh, just saw your question. I’m watching from Keizer Or.
A non-sailor or boat owner here .... are high performance bilge pumps suggested for boat owners in this area? Would that help/be advisable?
What is the proper way to load your boat, meaning where do you have people sit - toward the rear? Do you risk getting swamped from the rear if you go too slowly?
Just curious.
First video..I think the captain is a rental !
The guy finally realized what the trim was for.
I had to rewind that spearfishing part to make sure I was seeing it right. WtF was were they thinking? 🙀
Looks like the cop at the end had issues with the 2 jet skis not having any lights.
The driver or the boat!!! Lol Lol Lol
Looks like he figured out the trim a little better, but no PFDs?..
Yep lots of morons out on the water this day, but that white Leopard was one beautiful yacht 😃
A rental for sure.
Is that first pale blue boat rated for that many people? And I'd be scared to be swimming in that inlet. One of my cousins was run over and killed by a jet ski in a lake in Nebraska. 14 year old kid was driving it.
Mystery Boat is a Viking 37 Bilfish
Skin diving in the main channel is bad enough but .... Can't get over the guy moving the boat while there was still someone in the water hanging on to the side near the stern! Sheesh!
4:10 not to mention illegal.
Natural selection.
It's ok the spear fishing guys just got eaten by sharks...😂
For the captain to allow spearfishing there put many people in danger.
The mystery boat is a Viking 38 billfish
Live Oak, Fl
Its a rental. I ve rented that very same nautic star many times. From a place in Aventura. They have good service and keep their boats in good shape despite all this idiots doing this terrible things to them.
Mystery boat 1 definitely a viking brand. Mystery boat 2. Possibly a wellcraft
Mystery boat #2 is an Aquasport
3:17: See the "Sea Man", crossing the bar not in a rush, Just the same way as if he had to maneuver through a hurricane.
I don't think it was a rental, but it's definitely a person who is not familiar with the inlet and how to keep the boat on plane.
Mystery boat number 2 aquasport
Isn't that insanity spear fishing in the inlet? Lol. North Florida
No idea.
Those guys spearfishings legs and face were too close to the props
Too close… or ideal….?
Why on earth you'd rent boats with that bow shape is beyond me. It's like a giant scoop for water
Spear fishing in the middle of inlet🥴🥴🥴
These boats like the first one that like too seat too many people in the bow don't strike me as being very seaworthy. This one has less freeboard at the bow. You might as well put an engine on the back of a big shovel. I didn't see anyone pumping out or bailing. Maybe there is a bilge pump working furiously. Give me a boat with a decked over bow any day.
