That wasn't the only time he has done such a thing. When he is not surrounded by cameras and other pros, he can be a very, very arrogant man.

I don't remember calls for him to go growing louder, if I remember rightly this and the previous summer (and winter tour in between) had seen a fantastic resurgence in English cricket after the doldrums of the 90s and anticipation was actually starting to build for the ashes. Hussein was at the heart of it, and when people talk about 2005 we don't hear any more of all the hard work in the years that led up to it that made it possible
