How are you playing with pokes outside of gen 3?
you have to beat the game once and then you unlock them in the settings house!
@@360Chrismactually you can always activate that option if you hit the hidden button in that house even without beating the game

hold up, so i thought i was going nuts or something cus my game of emerald rogue only went up to gen 3 pokemon. how did you get the patch with up to gen 8? can anyone help?
You have to beat the game once first and then it's available as an option in the starting house or whatever.
I'd highly recommend starting Grass and Rock early... the rest aren't too bad with a bit of planning.
Also I found it helpful to adjust the generation depending on the type to maximise quality encounter likelihood. There's nothing worse than losing a run 10x because you couldn't find any early encounters!!
You shouldnt be able to replace your bagon with bagon, if you wanna stack bagon have it delete the other members. just in case its the only one of that type on the route
Items in battle should be banned imo
