    Great work Frode. Really hard to believe that you joined the club only a couple of years ago, with a few foam board models and lots to learn. And now see where you are 😁

      Thanks for kind words my friend 😀 really happy to get into this great hobby! I still have a ton off things to learn. This hobby has few limits off what you can do. And that is what keeps me couirus and bussy. And i have honor to meet a lot off interesting and nice people along the way 😁

    Great job! Can I ask about airflow to the turbine please. By putting the tank in the middle, that would block most of the air coming from the ducts on the side of the plane. Did you make other intakes?

    • @rcturbinator7855
      @rcturbinator7855  3 роки тому

      Thanks 😀 the airflow from the intakes are completly blocked by the fueltank! So the only air intake on this modell is the cheater hole under the modell for the original EDF system. Turbines dont need as much air as a EDF system so the cheater hole is enough with this litle turbine

      @@rcturbinator7855 Thank you for your reply. I want to put a Xicoy X45 in mine with thrust vectoring. I'm worried that the turbine will not get enough air and also, will the cheater act as a vacuum cleaner and pull the tail of the plane down?

    So did you use the heat tape in the area around the thrust tube and the coke can around the turbine? That was a little unclear.

    • @rcturbinator7855
      @rcturbinator7855  3 роки тому +1

      @@rcturbinator7855 good to know thanks. I'm starting to 3D print EDF planes and would like to convert one to turbine in the future so I'm learning all I can for that.

    Nice work. I have a turbine but it only produces 15N. So, I'd like to know if that's enough for this jet in your opinion. Do you fly full throttle a lot of the time with the P-20?

    • @rcturbinator7855
      @rcturbinator7855  3 роки тому

      Thanks! I would asume that you have the Lambert colibri T-15? I think that it would be to small for this aircraft. I would love to have at least 1 kg more thrust on this one. I had the engine in a Freewing L-39 before and it worked better in that type off aircraft. But there are some great options with your turbine also. I would put it in a 70mm F-16. But also maybee the e-flite viper, FW BAE Hawk or even maybee the FW Avanti

      @rcturbinator7855  4 роки тому +1

      I have my timer set for 5 minuttes. It would probably do 6 minuttes but i like to have enough in the tank for a couple off go arounds just in case. I have staves off a lot off foam to fit the 650ml tank so i think that is the biggest tank you can fit in it
