I've seen led Zeppelin 11 times the first concert I went to in 1971 at The forum they came out and played for 5 hours took a half hour break and came back and play another 2 and a half hours f****** unbelievable
John Paul Jones is playing the bass line with his feet on organ foot pedals while he plays rhythm guitar behind Jimmy. I love Jimmy but JPJ was never given his due.

This song is so much more beautiful than "Stairway To Heaven ", although that song is much more popular. LED ZEPPELIN has made such beautiful music it's easy to forget, that there's many more songs than just "Stairway..." ."The Rain Song " is also very beautiful.
I would also mention simple songs like tangerine or something truly heartfelt like all my love or I'm Gonna Crawl. In my opinion, Robert's lyrical prowess, along with the excellent musicians he was surrounded with, really picked up in terms of creativity and depth on Physical Graffiti - In Through The Out Door.
You check out this new band called “Greta Van Fleet.” People say they sound a lot like Led Zeppelin. They’re an established band and have songwriting capabilities of the best
One of their best EVER. John Paul Jones is just as irreplaceable as the rest of Zeppelin. Gotta dig Jimmy with the B bender on the strap , so good its gold.✨
I’ve been a Zeppelin fan my whole life. Just discovered this song a couple days ago and am COMPLETELY blown away. Zeppelin is that band that will keep surprising you with classics years and years down the road. The gift that keeps on giving.

My favourite Zeppelin song. What a treat to see this great live version. Best band of all time. And I love me my Beatles, Cream, Queen, Who, Stones. Zeppelin IMO are on a different level.
Right on. Different level indeed.this was this eras super group...my favorite also They were sonic architects of story telling...love Stones ..but ZEP...IS SIMPLY IT FOR ME
I had no idea a live version of this masterpiece was floating around out there. I love how Jimmy blends rock-God-certainty with vulnerable artistry. And of course the rest of the band being the best in the world at their jobs as well is just as essential. So much heart and soul -- thank you, LZ.
Yeah, they held back showing some live performances from the shows that they released on their 2003 "music home video" entitled, "D.V.D.". Hopefully they will be released in their entirety one day...
Yes! Love the studio version too but this Knebworth performance took it up a notch or two! 😌 And this was the inspiration for me to get a b-bender Telecaster. 👍🏻
Damn! Such a brilliant composition by Jimmy Page. Definitely one of his best. Totally on another level. The guitar solo always gives me chills. So much passion by JP and RP in this song! Physical Graffiti absolutely one of the best albums showcasing the whole groups’ talents. First album I bought in 1975. ✌️
Love my Rock n Roll. , love Clapton , Van Halen , like Hendrix but Page is the best because he created the greatest Rock guitar riffs in almost all Led Zep songs..Led Zep has hardly no bad songs and all based on Pages genius!!!

Props to jpj playing the bass with his foot and rhythm guitar that last solo jimmy did before the all in all ten years gone verse was sick.and I like the send and response him and Bonham was doing at the end these dudes were fucking awesome
Joshua Vargas Thank you so much for this comment I was trying so hard to figure out how JPJ was playing those bass notes and playing acoustic at the same time. I figured they had a guy playing bass backstage but when you listen to the bass line you can tell nobody would actually play like that. I knew Zep wouldn't sell out and use an additional musician. If I'm not mistaken JPJ is also singing background vocals 🤯
John Paul, should get much more respect. He had perfect combination of talent for both Jimmy and John to play off of. So underrated as a player and a composer
Oh my God Jimmy that's how you play that Telecaster.B bending ya Face ,,... OMG John Paul Jones playing the guitar the sound of Zeppelin the man that puts it all together John Paul Jones. Esta canción tiene vida propia, cada vez que la escucho suena diferente. Hoy ha sonado genial.... Que maravilla de solo de Jimmy.. Que sinceridad en la voz de Plant y que dos portentos Jones y Bonhan
To think plant lost his son 2 years previously ,he must of still Been in deep grief But he puts a performance in like this , one of the greatest vocalist of all time, and to think he was goin to lose his best mate bonzo 13 months later he's been through some bad times

Jimmy Page playing a Fender Telecaster modified with a Parsons/White B-Bender. Such a powerful song, reminds me of Stephanie, the first girl I fell in love with.

It was held at the Georgia Tech Stadium which is outside. Anyway,I'm sure you can see why I can't decide on which is the better show.
