Just a tip: You need to check the oil when it's hot. If you check it cold/cool it will read a low mark which is not correct. Never check it first thing in the morning before it hasn't been run. People were over filling these machines with oil.
For your model its a little different. You have to lift the cargo bed up to access the fill cap and dipstick. You also won't have oil coolers to drain. Same drain bolts, and filter location. When you add the oil you are only adding it to one location. Be sure to check your models service manual for specific oil amounts and torque specs.
@@twig7105If you haven't done it yet it's pretty easy. But not exactly as he described though. It's all in the owners manual with pictures. And you DO have to add new oil to 2 places not 1 like he said.

Thanks for the walk through I've been an atv Mechanic for 3 months and this is the first time I'm doing a service on one
As a Polaris mechanic I appreciate the simplicity of polaris oil changes. 1 drain plug+filter, 2.5 Quarts on most models.

Awesome video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Would this be the same for the 2024 wolverine X2 1000?

@@rmatvmc is there anyway you guys could do a video? I can’t find anything on UA-cam other than the Rax.

Same procedure for the X2 1000?
Yes, this should be the same procedure for your Wolverine X2 1000.
