The 2nd mother would have been told "dyslexia was once said to be hereditary which means it came from the parents, typically from the mothers side. "
I feel it would be safe to assume her comprehension level is no more than the average person's so she would have managed to wrongly think that i said it was her fault.

Teachers are so not overpaid. One of the districts where I used to live is opening up housing for teachers because it's hard for the teachers to afford housing.

Here in our district, test scores remain pitiful while teacher salaries have increased faster than any other jobs in the area. Teacher salary does not seem to correlate with increased student performance.

Umm...I kinda think that dyslexia is not "contagious" in the manner that she thinks it is. You don't just "catch dyslexia" in the way that she seems to think you do! 😲

I guess that mom doesn't realize how much out of school time teachers spend on school stuff. She doesn't realize how much teachers spend out of pocket. Are there parents out there who are really that ridiculous? And "catching' dyslexia? Really? Mom needs some education.
