I think it could be teachs flag cause he made alot of quotes about fear tactics amd how once a story about the seas got created it would spread like wild fire, so when people saw his flag what he was saying was “I am the devil, and i amhere for you!”
If I had the resources to make my own Jolly Roger, this is what mine would be. On a red flag, a Black Skull in profile eating an hourglass with two crossed cannons
I'm very happy that you admitted there's no evidence that Blackbeard used this flag, so many people desperately try to defend this flags' "hIsToRicaL AcCuRacY", despite there being zero period evidence of Blackbeard using such a flag. However, similar flags were recorded to have been used by Francis Spriggs and Edward Low, who were other pirate captains during the time of Blackbeard. *(however, their flags were never recorded to have had horns, since the devil was never depicted as a skeleton in those days, and neither was death shown with horns)*
“There’s no supporting evidence” is putting it lightly. The flag can’t be traced back any earlier than 1978. A very similar design was used by some other pirates but Blackbeard was known to have used just a regular skull and crossbones.
I like to mention the other pirates who flew that flag, which are Francis Spriggs, Edward low, and Charles Harris. John quelch was attributed to fly that flag, but he only flew the cross of saint George.
So. Fun fact. You are correct that this is not black beards' flag. This flag didn't make an appearance until around 200 years after black beards time. But from actual news paper articles of the time describe an attack by black beards fleet. They say that "his flag was black, with deaths head on it". Meaning that as cool as this flag is. Black beard himself used something closer to the normal jolly roger.
Bro i thought marshall .D. teach from one piece changed their jolly roger💀🗿 and when he said edward i thought edward newgate from one piece (whitebeard)
@@PewAirsoft wow i can't believe it thanks and I'm starting to believe that my flag seems much as a mix of sad and powerful but i love that combination that ye come up with so thank you.👍🏼🏴☠️
But in ppls minds this flag is associated with FOG so hard, so its almost illegal to wear it in Russia (not actually illegal, but at some point people gonna start asking questions)
You're a thousand percent wrong. Edward teach symbolized it as deathing drinking from a chalice showing he will show mercy to those who surrender. And the bleeding heart is meant for no quarter for those who resist.
@@PewAirsoft I'll send you a link to a history professor who's also a retired marine who would debate that. It just depends on what you're allowed to access
Overall to summarize it, it means "HERE COMES THE PAIN!"
Fact!!
I wore it on my college campus and some idiots started calling me a nazzzzziiiiiii
Ppl are dumb
@BIGBABYHAIRoff topic
They need a history lesson.obviously the nazis used the swastika not a pirate flag
This is probably my favorite flag hanging in my apartment. Despite the fact that Blackbeard was only a pirate captain for 2 years, he became legend.
So that was actually common. But he also served as a privateer for over a decade. Which means he was a badass. Average lifespan was 2.5 years.
One of my favorite flags tbh, looks hella lit and intimidating. Thanks for the clarification man!
Mine too! 🤙🏻
No no no. Its Forward Observations Group logo *Change my mind
Omg 🤣
Yes, even wagner's flag depicting them hammering this "guy"
Death angel of 1665?

I got one from ocracoke nc which was Blackbeard’s favorite hideout and where he was killed
If I had the resources to make my own Jolly Roger, this is what mine would be.

I support your decision 💯

You're wrong
I think it's a chalice but I like the hourglass. Fk it!

First hand accounts only state a "black flag" and a "bloody flag"
That's as detailed of a description we'll ever get.
I like to mention the other pirates who flew that flag, which are Francis Spriggs, Edward low, and Charles Harris. John quelch was attributed to fly that flag, but he only flew the cross of saint George.
The Edward Low and The Stede Bonnet also go pretty Hard.

Also it resembles Ed Low's flag. His atrocities may have been attributed to Blackbeard due to the propaganda created about Blackbeard

Once I get my own house I'm flying this on the flagpole 😆
a mans dream never dues
I have a flag of my own but the flag o mine shows the broken hour glass sword's crossed and the heart.
Your flag sounds like a mix of time running out, strength, and love - quite the combination!

Welp I’ll pray for my neighbor
Some people don’t know.
They usually just market it as the black Beard flag with zero context
Bruh my football team used that logo
That’s epic!!
Means nothing it’s not black beards flag and is completely, historically inaccurate.
I like it and the variations but it’s overused on all the FOG/CAG loadouts in airsoft and Roblox
Hey there

Wagner consider them as their nemesis hence a picture of them hammering this "guy" on one of their patch logo
@@imam.pramono yeah
That is NOT Blackbeard's flag, it was used by Ned Low...a far more ruthless & successful pirate.
I’m the 1,000th like. Let’s go.
