I just completed this course last week. The instructors were great and what I learned was hugely valuable. I think one of the main benefits of this course isn't so much what you learn technically, but instead it is the opportunity to practice good skills for hours on end and really hone your skills to what they can be. I highly recommend this course.
This type of training would benefit not only the novice rider, but most people who have been riding for years. Those in need of this training are easy to recognize. Approaching a stop light or stop sign they will extend both legs and drag their heels until they come to a stop, When completing a u-turn they look straight ahead and take as much space, or more, than a car to complete the turn. Operating a motorcycle is complete;y different than driving a car. One other thing, the person posting this video stated the training was the same "40 hours" required of police officers. Maybe wherever his school is located that is true. In California cops are required to complete 80 hours of this type of training. Way back in the day, when I completed motor school, the instructors announced that the class were officially BCMC's (Big City Motor Cops) and treated us to a cookout. KMA367
Looks like an awesome course, thank you for offering it, as well as providing the bikes! Wish the price was mentioned (even ballpark), but still, hope to attend someday. Spending a week in the Pacific Northwest, away from the Los Angeles traffic nightmare, that alone makes it worth it, haha!

It's fantastic that you offer a school bike to use, rather than your own, course let's face it, we don't want to drop our $30k bike, so we don't try to hard, we try to save our bike, while learning, how much is the course?
I am an old guy been thinking about getting another bike so I could spend some time with my son I am 65 yrs old and am nor as nearly as coordinated and fast as I used to be . I have a story about a buddy and me in the 60's that were dbl. up on his 5 hp. mini bike, not street legal, but what did we care we were just trying to get a few miles across town to get to his house. Well nuts a cop saw us and did a U turn and we were scared. There was a lrg. empty piece of desert in between the cop and us and maybe a mile to his house. He told me to jump off and I did , and he went all out across the dessert to his house while I hid and watched The cop on bike took after him across the dessert after him only to get bogged down in the chase,my buddies mini bike was moving while the cop was cussing and I was laughing all the way home. Sorry but the cops in Las Vegas were very hard on us kids back in the 60's so to me it was an intense smile on my face.
Old timers going after the nerds ..YOU TOO CAN BE A CHAMPION.most old timers self included rode dirt bikes as kids so it takes so many years to master riding.they say 40 hours..Sure
Hi , where can I find information about your school. I am from middle east and I only can stay for a week, is it enough time to take the whole course? I am a new rider, I have been riding for 3 years only on a Hond 500. Thanks
I see most posts are ask how to signing up for the coarse and/or the price with no answers or a reference to a web site. Why post this if you don't give information for those interested in taking the coarse? Just bragging rights???
@@Rettequetette This isn't anything but a bad commercial. I think if you want to post something to UA-cam you have a responsibility to answer post questions, if you aren't going to, disable comments!!!!
@@joebrewer5885 Yeah, fair point. But also, you know how it goes on this platform... this video is already old by Internet standards. I think the uploader didn't even think of providing a link in the description at the time - just wanted to share his enthousiasm. There are only two videos on the channel, both from 6 years ago. I don't think this is a very "active" YT user. But, yeah, I agree that he should have taken some time to answer the questions from the comments.
Go online and look up advanced rider training. A police course will be put on starting May 20, 2019 in Victoria BC at Western Speedway. It’s a two week course For police and civilians.
I took my motor officer training in El Paso on a KZ-1000. Love those old Kawi’s! Great video! Brought back memories! Thanks for sharing.
