What makes this even more special than it is, this routine is totally improved! They were both drawn randomly to dance together in this part of the competition. (The songs were random too).

The beauty of a great leader is that you don’t need to worry about anything. He puts you at ease, and just wants to have fun. He’s been my ProAm leader many times, and we’ve danced socially a million times over the last 20 years.

Both understand the feel and moves of the dance (West Coast swing) down to the slightest nuances which allows them to create spontaneously on the dance floor with whatever music is played. I love this! It's a great example of how a bigger person can move with style & grace... being "light on their feet". Many smaller built people can't move like this guy. I really enjoyed watching this pair. They seemed very in tune with each other's movements. Very natural, not like they had to try to get it right. Bravo!

My daughter was telling me that she notices when she goes out dancing that most of the men that can really dance are on the heavy side. It doesn't stop women from dancing with them one bit because they LOVE TO DANCE..... I LOVE this video. I just had to share ........
I don´t know if people know, but these are like jack and jill dances -- the partners are drawn - they are not partners in real life, each one is drawn from a piece of paper, and so is the music. This is all improv! Amazing...
I just love watching John Lindo dance but he only has that fantastic chemistry with certain lady dancers that make the routines so amazing, Stephanie Batista is one of those ladies. Absolutely awesome, could watch them all day x
