And those were good shots, if mcdavid scored zadorovs goals he'd be saying how skillful it was to fire it in from the corner. They marvel about crysaitl doing it all the time.
One of Seravalli's main arguments against Zadorov is that "a lot of the goals he scored in the playoffs shouldn't have went in".
Does he use that "metric' when looking at Gretzky's goal totals?

He’s right, and if he were to miss the net on those shots being so deep in attacking zone, it would turn into an odd man rush the other way.

The scouting report on Big Z is that you have to shelter his minutes. If you play him too much he has a tendency to make mental lapses. The upside is that he’s a big body and can skate, but you can’t do $6mil times 6yrs on a number 4 dman.
