    I had my second interview today and most of what you said came in. They asked me questions from interview number one that I wasn’t too sure of and I answered them more effectively this time.
    Thank you so much for your interview series. They really helped!❤

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about this video! MILLIONS ARE MISSING OUT, and I hope they find you! Your kindness, wisdom, and beauty radiate throughout the whole entire video, and you are so well spoken, elegant, and generous with your information. Also, your tips are realistically helpful ~ I was recently complimented (twice) in an interview for having researched my first interviewer's LinkedIn page. She said "no one does that and I REALLY appreciate that you did." So that tip, as well as the others you mentioned are spot on.
    . . . I do have one question for you. I have a second interview in a few days and the one thing I'm feeling "anxiety" about (as you mentioned) is the salary question. It is a job for a state college in the U.S., and they list the "minimum starting salary" but not an actual range. I've researched other roles that have the same title but it's one of those roles where the title may not match the actual job. Meaning, others that work at this institution have shared that their job titles have nothing to do with what they actually do. Plus, when I research the job title (and others that may be appropriate), the salary figures are all over the place. So, obviously, I don't want to ask for a salary that is way out of the ballpark, per se, and blow the opportunity based on that question. And at the same time, I don't want to ask for too little and if I get the job realize that and have to live with it. haha. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you so much! :)

      Hello, thank you so much for your kind words!! It always makes me happy to know that the tips I share are getting used out there…and then to see you guys acing the interviews as well 🙌🏾
      Congrats on being called back for your second interview.
      Well, how does the minimum salary compare to your current? Are you able to survive and still have some extra spending money with the salary that have stated on the website? 🤔
      Those questions are important in determining what to ask for. Feel free to DM me for a private conversation on LinkedIn or Instagram!

    Hi Aus Bohlale,I have a question unrelated to this video:If a student failed one or two courses in the 1st semester of a whole year course,but does extremely well in the 2nd Semester & overall GPA.Can they be considered for vac work/articles?

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  2 роки тому +2

      Yes they can…but let’s keep that average increasing!!! Focus on getting consistent with good grades and you’ll be fine

    What should I say, if I'm asked WHY I left my previous job? It wasn't a very pleasant experience, and I would rather just AVOID talking about it altogether.

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  2 роки тому +2

      You will need to find a clever way to explain the reason. It should never come across as you blaming the company or people in it. You must focus on your experience, what you learnt from it and where you are hoping to go. I unfortunately can’t give up a more direct answer because I don’t know the circumstances. Just keep your response positive

      @@bohlalepaile What if I just said that I got entangled in some inter-office politics and left it at that? Y'see, it was a soap opera scenerio which really had nothing to do with me. I was trying to make friends at work. Well, the female supervisor didn't like me being friends with the male supervisor(I believe they were having some sort of illicit on-the-job love affair). I use the word 'illicit' because they were both already in committed romantic relationships with other people. Anyway, the female supervisor decided that she wanted me gone to get me away from the male supervisor. She purposely set out to SABOTAGE my job there! She eventually succeeded by getting me FIRED! Now, do you understand why I wouldn't want to try explaining that in a job interview? I was used as a SCAPEGOAT in that situation!

    • @saffirechanning7286
      @saffirechanning7286 2 роки тому +2

      Hey THANKS for your advice! Turned out, it wasn't really a traditional job interview. Instead, they just took us on a walk-thru of the facility where we'll be working. We were explained exactly what our daily duties would be. I'm THANKFUL that I wasn't asked about WHY I left my last job! There's really NO WAY for me to EXPLAIN that MESS.

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  2 роки тому

      @@saffirechanning7286 yes it was a tricky situation, thank goodness a response wasn’t required 🙌🏾💯 all the best! Hope that you get it

    • @saffirechanning7286
      @saffirechanning7286 Рік тому +1

      Oh YEAH, something was definitely goin' on between that male and female supervisor! As soon as I was FIRED from there, the male supervisor CEASED communications with me! I thought that he and I were BUILDING a FRIENDSHIP but apparently NOT! Very recently, I got an ANGRY message from his romantic partner, accusing me of trying to RUIN their relationship! But I haven't even SEEN of SPOKEN to the guy in MONTHS! It SOUNDS like he and that female supervisor have told his girl LIES about me! At first, I was WORRIED about that because I wanted to CLEAR my reputation. But I have a NEW JOB now. People have ADVISED me to just FORGET about it and MOVE ON with my LIFE. Chances are, I'll NEVER SEE any of those people from my last job again anyway. THANKS for your professional INSIGHT!!

    Hi Ausi bohlale I have a question not related to the video, currently I'm studying towards my LLB and doing a learnership at the same time, I wanted to ask if the learnership will be considered by the law firm which I will be applying to because through the practicals I am doing, I now have an idea how one is supposed to conduct themselves in the workplace.

    • @bohlalepaile
      @bohlalepaile  2 роки тому

      It definitely should be considered by them…ensure that you have put it in your CV as work experience.
      It being considered doesn’t mean that you’ll get paid more for articles, it just means that it’ll be taken into consideration.
