York parkrun | We had a Bad Run!

Brian and I ran York parkrun whilst in the area (vlog 29 June 2024).
York parkrun is a nice, flat, looped course of roughly one and a half laps round the racecourse on a tarmac path. There were 577 runners at York parkrun this week.
Despite hoping for a decent finish time, it wasn't a good run for either of us at York parkrun this week and this was not due to my ankle injury. It also rained quite a bit.

Well done Shara. Nice to see York parkrun again. A little wetter this time 🌧️
The videos we saw before we ran there were filmed over winter where the grass and the paths looked flooded in places.
Hope you enjoyed the wedding and that the ankle is feeling better 😊

Wow! At least it wasn't flooded for us. It's a nice, flat course so I imagine it would be great for some speedy running but only if you can get in a position where you are able to manoeuvre around the course freely. The wedding went well, thank you 🙂
