Hi Emily! Big fans here, thanks for all you do to create the next generation of scientists! My two kiddos (both under 8) keep asking me where the kids are when I showed them your new videos. I'm guessing they can relate (like when I watch Blue with them and enjoy it mostly because I can relate to the parents) but also you were always so fun and kind on your interactions with them! Could you maybe co-host with someone that is not a science expert sometimes? I think they would love that! Thanks again for all the hard work putting quality content out there!!
You could also keep the baking soda white on the tray and use 6 cups of colored vinegar. They can use a syringe to make a rainbow with the colored vinegar. (And then dump the rest). It makes the experiment last longer.
LOVE the touch and taste safe experiment!!! I'm always looking for touch and taste safe "potions" my 5 year old can make. This looks great! Thank you!!!
So glad you’re back, my kids have watch all your episodes tenfold at least and are very excited for the new ones! But why oh why, are you not available on UA-cam kids? Now parents must monitor their kids while watching your videos to make sure that UA-cam doesn’t drift them off into something inappropriate seems like a major oversight on your part to not have this available to the kids your catering to.

Love this idea!!!
Love this idea!! And it would be a great way to teach dexterity with the kids using pipettes (or syringes)!!
@SpaceGal indeed! It is one of my favorite experiments! 😍 And great for their little hands.... and less mess (until the dumping)
I'll have to add some food coloring to my baking soda to make my toilet bowl cleaning more exciting and colorful when I add the vinegar! ; )

This has been our favorite science experiment for years. Thank you for keeping it simple. Love your book and content!
