Our family went a different way. We went full mental on abarths. In less than a year, we bought a 695 rivale (mom), 595 turismo (sister), 595 comp (me) in that purchase order. hehe. I went on a drive a few times in my sisters turismo and loved it. sold my giulietta and bought the comp. Now i'm waiting for the tonale to come so that my dad sells his guilia vélocé so that i can buy it and run it alongside the abarth.
One big problem😯 my size at 197cm and 100+kg don’t fit in bucket carbon seats...so got the RIVALE695 in order to play with more horsepower I’ll have to change out the front Axel cause the RIVALE has no Dif Lock 😢😢😢 looking at that it’s going to be a lot of cash flowing in...what the hell am I talking about...🤪 It’s well worth the money and FUN yesterday driven about 700km 650 on Autobahn it’s able to play with the big cars and more...on GPS had 220km/h quite often 😎 Great to have You back with a ABARTH 😎
I saw it recently, it has a lot of personnality, kind of racing, kind of vintage, it is very very appealing, just the look is so special, you can be completeley drawn to it. Personnaly, I love more my Rivale but is completely subjective and I m biased. I get yhour point on the Essesse, so cool and nice. But the 70th anniversario is very unique and I get the one who wouldn t buy something else.
Stef i can definitely say seeing it in person i can see why someone would buy it! It's so eye catchy! Seating position is a definite no 🤣 but the 695 is 🙌 if i had to choose i would definitely get one!
Don't. Since series 3 Fiat introduced a new function into the ECU to prevent the engine/exhaust noise of exceeding legal law: At full throttle you "randomly" experience a full three second power loss. This might happen in the 2nd gear, in the 3rd gear and in the 4th gear one after another. According to FCA this is working as intended.
Still waiting to see one in the metal. I already like it without seeing it so no doubt it’ll look even better when I finally get the chance to get my eyes on it 🦂
What about investing in some proper Coil Overs for the Abarth, considering the bumpiness-Alert... ?? 👍 Or does it not help? Its gotta have to do a tad with the chassis in itself & amount of rubber on tires also right?
What's the MPG real world? The wheel arches should be the same colour. Limited edition ? They would never sell more, anyway. It looks fun, but long term, I don't think so.I might wait for the Abarth 500 Electric in 3/5 years time? 200bhp electric? No fancy exhausts needed..
Nice car as all Abarth are but I've owned my 595 for nearly three years now and I see no reason to trade it for what's, in essence, something that's exactly the same. Need some new ideas now.
I recently drove a 2017 comp and I have a 2010 500 ABARTH. So series 1! And my suspension is waaaaay more harsh than the comps. I’ve not changed the suspension since my ownership of 7 years! And how I want konis on mine because it’s a comfier ride 😂😂 and mine actually felt faster than the comp. a remapped 135 to possibly 165?! What is going on?! I don’t actually know my power output since remapping it 4 years ago but it put the comp to shame. Which was bad because I want to upgrade but i now know I’m going to have to get a comp remapped and an aftermarket exhaust just to get it how mine is now. 🙄 the older cars are more raw and real. The newer cars are refined and all the euro stuff with emissions has really tamed them down.
My Ser 1 with Stage1 map ,monza and k&n produced a healthy 176 bhp on the r.r. graph so maybe yours is around that figure?agree bout the harsh ride on bumpy roads although mine's lowered 20mm if that Makes a difference or not.
Could you do a video on model history of the abarths. Then do one on price point 5k, 7.5to10k, 10 to 15k then the newer stuff.. (Q. Do I want a weekend toy 5k or main car 13k Plus) also is it worth buying a 140bhp and modding or just buy a 180bhp....
Short answer is no you shouldn't. I'm an owner of a 595.the interior quality is shocking. Scratchy plastic everywhere infotainment is shocking to use. Used to love the abarth brand but not anymore. They keep releasing so called limited edition cars and it's a cunning way of making money they really are clutching at straws now and the prices they charge for these are an absolute joke. Don't be fooled people. The interior and exterior is looking incredibly dated. Roll on when I get my new car in Oct
The interior should have been upgraded by now, to be sure..I'm surprised the door cards haven't been uprated with better materials. But when I'm driving it, I don't think about it.
@@simeonselmon8318 I get around 44mpg combined on a good day. I'm getting a mini cooper s. Does near enough the same and it's a 2 litre twin turbo. Think abarth are stupid not having a 6 or 7 speed gearbox. It's only 5 speed
@@simeonselmon8318 definitely but I'm happy with it in my cooper s cos obviously it's a bigger more powerful engine. I think abarth are way behind the times people from the abarth community have been demanding a 6 speed gearbox for years
Fiat Abarth cars are different emotion than other brands
Pugna fiat
Nice upload...said before and say again I think some people who wouldn't touch an abarth should try one..👌
Thanks mate. Yeah defo agree!

When you accelerated through the tunnel, it looked like you went into warp speed. Niiiiice!
I bought one yesterday!!! And I have 3 kids.. LoooooL My second Abarth. LOVE IT
Awesome!!

Extremely balanced and helpful. Hard to reconcile this with the strange bile of Jayem.
The more I see it , the more I like it 👌🏻
For me though it’s the Esseesse every time 🤍👌🏻. I may be a bit bias though 😳🥴😂👊🏻🍄🚗💨
New to this channel picking up my new one this wed
Fantastic review Stef, really exciting presentation! You should be the face of Top Gear with Rory, not the current clowns

My dad bought a 695 xsr a few weeks ago, partly helped by your videos but he has always wanted one too
Awesome man 🙌
Such a cool car, best hot super mini by a mile - although the new king is on it's way, the Yaris GR will take plenty of sales away from Abarth
Nice short review that stef I think that will help a lot of people decide on what models they should go for
Excited to see how i can see how to make my monza louder.

I bought one today.
I think I watched to many of your Videos.
Haha awesome!!
Love the green but I really don’t like the lighter accents on it

Akrapovich sounds much better, and would love to get that bodykit colour coded.

If only the added body kit matched the paint work of the car

One day I will be in one! You just can’t love an abarth

Love your videos
Thank you!
Great video great car Stef love Abarth
Hi Stef I thought they were not affected by OPF as they kept the bhp down to 180 bhp ? Hence emissions low enough to keep the monza loud ?
Hopefully Australia gets a few soon.
Did you know that all Abarths are made in Poland only? I had one good soul on the factory and he tweet about new Yamaha 595, so be ready 😉
Well built too! We have had two. But the Abarth Punto (now out of production) was built in southern Italy.
@@nickname1812 ive mean 500😉 european
So the insurance isn't extortionate??

Go for it
Hey Mate did you make a video on how to make the exhaust louder as you mentioned cheers Marco
That rev hang eughhhhhhhhhhh
Good video👍
XSR for me.
I love my Abarth but I sold it for a Golf R. Definitely no regrets.
I want to take the plunge and get a Ferrari GTC4lusso. But I can't afford it :-((...
How do you make it sound better for free?
I am a new driver, if only the insurance wasn’t that high

Modding a car? Don't. I did it years ago. You'll never get your money back.
Whose the best dealer out there.
Greetings from 🇦🇺Stef👍
Good fun but very bumpy ride and drinks lots of fuel he does no tell you that
Can you buy a 595/695 in the United States?
It is a fact thay they will end up being electric.
Might have to move to England Americans dropped the ball!
Great item but sorry this shape is looking rather dated now
My wifes boyfriend says he likes my abarth
He also likes your wife apparently 😂
