Final episode! So much has changed since we filmed these vlogs. We're all back safe at home in Arizona, USA. When the coronavirus hit, I was living in Kumamoto, Japan, doing service work with my church and learning Japanese. Lauryn was doing similar service work in Uruguay. Audrey was at her first year of college, and Isaac was getting ready to go to Peru. Now we're all at home again. Hopefully this video will bring you some cheer. I look forward to the time when we can all travel again. Until then, stay safe, stay healthy, and stay positive!

Covid has made travel impossible, plus I finally got back to Japan (after testing and full 2 week quarantine) and am doing fulltime volunteer church work and learning Japanese. With my language skills improving and lots of new connections in Japan, I'm hoping to film and post interesting content in the fall of this year if travel is possible by then. Lauryn and I are bf/gf, not engaged . . . Time will tell. 😊
This series was an epic win. Sad to see it end. Hopefully you can come back again with the whole gang once this madness is over. Fingers crossed, my own trip to Japan is happening in November. Stay safe and stay awesome, guys!

You guys are so lucky! traveling just before the pandemic and you can still experience all that Japan could offer. After two years now, Japan finally opens its door for tourists but it's not the same Japan that we used to know. Japan has changed a lot.

Hi Sam! congrats on another cool video series. your previous videos where you traveled with your dad, brother and uncle were my inspiration to finally visit Japan last year in October and I absolutely loved it. I traveled from Tokyo all the way down to Hiroshima. Osaka was my top favorite city of the whole trip, I just wish I had more time to explore it there. I look forward to more Japan videos from you.
