You can tell after izzy lost, he gained a bit of self awareness of getting his shit up disciplined. On his last fight, his style was more concise and technical. Hope to have Izzy to evolve more as he fights.
He got outclassed in his last fight in every department including striking. If he wasn't that careful jan would have knocked him out. Izzy is good but very overrated.

@@CulturalFrontline Nah. Costa gasses out after 2 rounds while Vettori can last around 3.5 rounds and almost 4 rounds without slowing down dramatically. Costa might have slightly better striking but Vettori has better fight IQ, wrestling, and BJJ. Vettori also walks around 210 and this helps Vettori more since he is a grappler.

I have to agree with Marvin, there’s no way Izzy is 4” taller.
Blachowicz is 6'2'' and Izzy was bit taller.. (f*ck these american measurements.. it's like 5 centimeters)
Anyways.. Vettori is all cringy in these interviews. I'm sure he himself must feel strange talking some things. You can see it on his face. The match is big thanks to Adesanya, not Vettori.
Every Izzy's match since he fought Vettori was the big thing even before it started. Tavares, Brunson, Anderson Silva, Gastelum, Whittaker, Romero, Costa, Blachowicz. Everyone has known about these fights even before they started.
Vettori's fights? You knew maybe about the last 2 - against Hermasson and Holland. Just imagine what Adesanya would do to Kevin Holland. He's 2 levels below him. And it was Vettori's title shot fight? That's quite funny.
Whittaker or Gastelum should be next, unluckily, Kelvin lost too many fights recently. And none of them were ready to jump right in. Izzy wanted early fight.
But still.. He beat the whole division, so there are only rematches in 2021 probably. Luckily Izzy is quite active, so I'm waiting for Whittaker rematch around October/November

I believe Vettori is going to be a very tough fight for Adesanya. He has decent standup, a great chin, never give up attitude, always coming forward, has great wrestling. I'm surprised why most people are counting him out.
They are the easiest archetype to knockout. If he's too Calm, plays out like Costa. To angry, plays out like Whittaker. He needs to be in-between & I think Izzy is stirring him up bad.
