Help! I’m a widow who never used tools like this before. My bits fall out easily. I need to use the smallest one in 1st row to the left. It just slides around when I put it in the driver to take a screw out of a dog door flap. Any advice that a kindergartner could understand? Went to Lowes a month after this posted and exchanged my tool kit for a magnetic one. Now I feel like a pro!
Thanks for this video! I just picked this up today, but the design has changed: the wrench is no longer offset (its straight), and the bit holder design is different so such a degree that the clearance is not as good anymore. The box is still the same, and the part # is still 0338358. I'm going to try to find the older version like you have because I like that offset and lower profile!
And it’s not magnetic. If you face the ratchet down to work on something flat like he did with the caster the bit falls out. It looks like the one in the video was magnetic.
The old one was nice, but the offset was too much for some spaces. I grabbed the new one, and it's cool, but, no magnet, and my bits keep falling out. Damn annoying. When I grabbed the new set, they had one old one left. You might get lucky and find some floating around.
The Kobalt right angle bit driver is a great tool for areas without a lot of clearance

Did you have any success finding the "old" one?

The gearwrench kit is still offset
Similar to the vim tool ratchet but theirs has a spinner thumb wheel.
Unfortunately they stopped making this set with the offset & pass through end driver.
Looks pretty useful. Is it made in China?
Mine was made in Taiwan
