“Change out your Player 2” might be the nicest way of saying divorce or break up. 😂
Your right, he was super slick with that.....heeheheh He is such a West Coast Gentleman. If he was an east coaster, he would have said "cancel the chic and roll on"
🙃
When I fly domestically I prefer southwest. On short flights, I don't care about business.
Our first class. It's a minor inconvenience for the money I save. To me the destination Is greater than the means I use to get there. I always look for the best value
Thank you for the video You content creators have saved me so much
We spend about 150k a year with credit cards, on our buisness. What would be the best credit card to use for points, rewrads, travel etc...?
🎫 Signup for biz card in late Nov/early Dec, personal card in Dec, spend on at least biz EOY, complete spend for both in Jan. Rotate p1 and p2. Enjoy! Repeat.
I’ve always wondered, what happens if you standby for a later flight but your standby doesn’t clear? Do you lose the value of your ticket or will they let you standby the next day?
Usually let you standby for the next flight / next day. I've even seen airlines basically buy tickets for another one.
i.e., We were flying Europe => LAX => SFO via Delta. Due to delays, we missed the LAX to SFO leg.
Delta got us tickets on a United flight home.
I usually travel with delta/united but SW is like my 3rd choice mainly because of the costs. The ticket prices are imo already elevated to offset those companion passes. For example, flights from ord to vegas already cost like 300 RT
I think SW is actually weirdly inflated outside of Texas (and probably a few other states / airports). i.e., out of SFO it's pretty expensive, with the exception of maybe Vegas or LAX.
Even then, you'll usually see similar pricing for UA, AA, or AS for SFO/LAX or SFO/LAS.
I fly southwest always. I can fly to Hawaii cheaper than I can fly to vegas
Southwest isn’t always the cheapest option
@@Vegas.777 Oh I know it's not the cheapest but i don't want to go any cheaper.
Theoretically, you could also cycle as P1 only, but with a month lag (at best) each cycle, right?
If you're getting it via 2 cards, yes. No if it's the 1 card offers (since they tend to be "SWCP for rest of the year" + 2 year bonus clock).
🎟️a southwest video shouldn’t count towards your weekly video count 😂😂
😆
ahhaah We call it a Greyhound BUS in the SKY.🎫🎫🎫
🎟️ thanks for the video Sebby. If I get my 85k from a signup bonus how long do I have to earn the other 50k points in order to qualify for companion pass ? Does it have to be in the same year ? If I use some of the points after earning does the amount that I need to hit 135k also get reduced ?
Business Squuuuuuuuuuad
AS next?
It's on the list but a bit further down for priority. The case for SWA is that they're 3rd for market share (ahead of United): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_airlines_in_North_America
🎟️ Great video Sebby! Enjoying Companion Pass until 2025 using a player 2 set up. 🙌🏼
🎟️ got companion pass this year. made traveling to visit family way easier. main benefit i see from a-list is boarding between A and B groups. Boarding in B can mean you may have to split up and not sit with your partner, which may be okay for short flights but a big bummer on longer flights. It would also probably suck for a family. great video, thank you! 🙏
Not a problem if you're seated in the A group, And your companion is in the B group. When you board just save their seat, nobody says anything. And most people want their space. In other words they will shoes of empty seat Rather than?
Sit by somebody else
I’m thinking of getting companion pass at the beginning of next year but I don’t know how great it’ll be because I don’t fly Southwest very much
Probably low priority unless it's an easy one ("sign up for Plus/Premier/Priority and get it for 1 year").
🎟🎟🎟
I hate southwest.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think we usually only fly them if everything else is expensive or if routing makes sense. All things being equal, would pick Delta over other ones :)
🎟We got companion pass for the 1st time this year. What an awesome deal!!! I mean you gotta fly Southwest, but bogo flights make it all worth it. Thanks for the video, Safe Travels!!!
Glad you're enjoying it! :)
