Maybelline is pretty bang for your your buck! There mascara sky high is amazing, and I also have their skin tints. I highly recommend on textured skin, it really smooths things out.
I love both L'oreal & Maybelline for the skin tints. If I want a more dewy look, I'll go for L'oreal. The Maybelline mascara, honestly, you only need 1 coat and you're good for the day. Definitely not easy to take off, use an oil or balm, but looks great & doesn't smudge!
It is an interesting topic and a great video. Unfortunately, neither L'Oreal nor Maybelline are cruelty free, therefore I won't be trying either of them.
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I have super oily skin and most skin tints/serum foundations are a greasy as hell, making the combo of me and those a disaster. This one wasn't like that at all! Sets down pretty well with translucent loose powder, has great coverage with a sponge, and wears well with no fading.
I have added the Maybelline skin tint to my list. Presently tan from two weeks in Cannes. So I will wait till the tan fades to start wearing any skin tints. I love your videos so much. Thank you.
I like this so much more then the L’oreal tint. I never could find a good shade in L’oreal because they try to squeeze so many shades into one bottle. Better coverage with Maybelline and I actually find it to be more glowy and dries down so nice. Try shade 118.

I've been using and love the glossier skin tint, but I wanted to find an alternative for a better price. The maybelline skin tint was it. Very reminiscent of the glossier but with a bit more coverage. Love skin tints. So easy to blend and looks so natural.

I don't know about anyone else, but to me the loreal side looks more natural and blended better. The Maybelline side looks slightly too dark for your skin tone...but that's just what it looks like to me.

Let’s say I’m color correcting a large area, would I just go in with a brush over that areas so I don’t disrupt the coverage and avoid over mixing the color corrector with the rest of my face?
I was unaware of the vitamin c... my brows and liner are tattooed so I stay away from that ingredient. Anything of concern/acidic in the loreal that you know of?
I looove skin tints, too .,, especially as I’m aging. I can no longer wear foundation .. looks too dry, cakey and unnatural on me .. doesn’t make my skin looks it’s best. Skin tints do:). I’m definitely going to try the Maybelline one .. maybe even both of them!

Try using L’Oréal lumi foundation 2 to 3 shades darker under your chin take down your neck to décolleté. You will get that great natural finish on your skin. Try buxom lip plumper it doesn’t burn❤
The one thinking that drives me absolutely nuts about this line is I need more shades!!! In the uk there are an extra 4 shades and I'm pretty sure my colors match is across the pond. Maybelline, please make more shades cause I love the formula!
Looks so beautiful. I see you have a blemish on your cheek. Well put castor oil on a bandaid and put on that blemish. I am older and have these dark spots on my arms from working in the sun so I did a couple spots and it took 2weeks but that spot us gone. So it’s just takes time. Try it. Love your videos thank you.
The Maybelline coverage and finish look good but the L’Oréal color is better. If you have the L’Oréal shade in the Maybelline formula that would be perfect.
I used this skin tint with the elf power grip primer and Ben nye setting spray and my make up didn’t move and looked perfect for my wedding all day. It’s my new go to combo.
I love the Maybelline Surreal Mascara. For me, I just do one coat and I get amazing length without clumping. I haven’t had the flaking or clumping problems. I haven’t tried the CG one though. I’m interested to try the Maybelline skin tint.
I am buying the sky high again! I was trying out the L’Oréal balm for a more natural look and looked back at some older photos with the sky high and my lashes looked so good!! Now I miss it 😂
I bought this last week and returned it the next day. When I got home from running errands and buying this I was cleaning my bathroom and was going to wash my brushes. Figured I would put this on to try it out. I used the smallest amount and applied with a brush and then pressed it in with my sponge. It took me 10 minutes to wash my brush…and I used just 2 drops if that. My brush felt so oily and just wouldn’t come clean. Finally it was clean enough but I was over it. It also felt not heavy, but like there was something on my skin. I wish is worked better for me since it looks great on everyone else. I’ll stick to my Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer for now.
In one of her videos she mentioned matcha antioxidant cream is best for her. She also mentioned using coconut oil as a moisturizer, but I guess that depends on how oily your skin is. Mine tends to always be oily so I'd break out super bad if I tried it.😂

I use cetaphil moisturizing cream ultimate under my makeup and at night. You can even put on eyelids & it doesn’t sting your eyes. Its creamy & feels so good.
Which one feels more moisturizing? I have very dry skin (oil soaks right in instantly). I DO moisturize but it soaks in so much that it doesn't make a difference. Thanks!
Everyone is commenting how glowy this is. I found the exact opposite & I'm highly moisturized. I found it oxidized a bit as well. I'm gonna keep trying it but its definitely not a top pick for me. I do love both of the mascaras though!
I use a Kosas skin tint now and it’s unbelievably AMAZING. It melts into my skin and looks crazy natural. They recently discontinued it and I’m DEVASTATED!! Thank you for this and I will 💯 have to try!

Maybelline is my favorite drugstore brand. especially for their foundations, literally never had a Maybelline product that didnt work for me

The pixi skin tint is beautiful as well! But this maybelline is a fave for me
Maybelline Curl Bounce washable is the best mascara! Bethanny Frankle tested all of them and this is number 1.

Maybelline is owned by L'Oreal. I suspect it's the same formula. Since they both contain alcohol, it's a no for me, although I loved the L'Oreal.
