Best comment as I was tempted to yet again use my serger but thought it might be discouraging / unrelatable. I'm glad it helps!! See, sewing jersey is no biggie!
Love this, thank you making this available for free. Love your attention to detail and making this accessible for everyone. Easy to sew on sewing machine and easily transferable to be made on a serger. Love the reversible aspect. All my love and gratitude ♾️
this is such a well explained video. Really enjoyed the," Your attention, Please." part. It helped me focus on the more complicated aspects of the project. Also, you have a beautiful voice.
Love this! It makes sewing a crop top look so easy!! I have a sewing machine but I'm always too scared to start a big project with it because I'm afraid I'll mess up but this looks so good!
Alina, take my hand and thing about it: this top doesn't take much fabric so if you mess it's not a big expense. I'll refund you the pattern if you ask for it. So it's gonna be a bit of mental block, maybe stress, the feeling you're struggling against yourself. This is how it feels getting out of my comfort zone, for me at least. GO FOR IT! Or any other bigger project! It's time you evolve in your next Pokemon! Good luck XD
this was so nice and peaceful to watch, even the woodworking bit in the beginning hahaha. I made a similar top earlier this year and it took me forever to find out how to sew the bottom closed. eventually i ripped a hole in the top part and turned it inside out through there but this way makes way more sense!
I made this today, and it turned out amazing! I only had to adjust the straps a little, as i had to choose a bigger size because of my chest, so they were a little long for me.
This looks so good, I will keep it in my DIY playlist until I finally get a sewing machine. Thank you for uploading this, it's a great video and I understood everything :)
You could sew a blue and a green thin strip together to also make the straps match the colors on both sides 😊 but anyway this is a great video please keep it up!!!!
Yes of course! I now show my tutorials with my regular sewing machine because people using sergers are usually more advanced with sewing, they'll know what to do seeing the zig zag. Which is not the case reversed
Ah yes I have to say I didn't give myself the mission to teach the basics, as there are plenty of ressources available. You have to search online. I personally learned with non free beginner online courses when I started, as I wanted the informations to be professional, thorough and high quality. It's faster too, you don't have to google things you don't even know exist! I learned on Makerist.de (in German) but Crafty is very good in English. But I still have to do some research at every new project! Good luck :)
What size paper should i print? I printed it in letter but it looks really small. Also, should i print only whats in the margin or all the paper? with or without borders?
You should print 100% no matter your printing format, the margins make the file adapted to both (and print as "portrait" if you have that option, an American person showed this to me, I don't have it on my French pc). I recommend you print the first page alone, the one with the verification box, so you check that one before printing the rest!
Hi! Hmm, what do you mean "to cut LIKE the pattern"? Did you print the pattern, check the scale, cut your size and so on? Where didn't the fabric line up? Hmm, it's difficult to help, sorry!
@@isainstitches I printed the pattern and cut along the dotted line for the size that I wanted. Then when i cut it out on the fabric the front and back pieces did not line up together when i put right sides together to be pinned. Was I supposed to print it on larger paper?
Ive dowloaded the pattern but it doesnt state any fabric requirements (like it does on the crocodile top for example). How much do I need for a size 34 or 36? :)
Yep: AMOR EU34: H30 x L72 cm EU36: H31 x L75 cm EU38: H32 x L80 cm EU40: H32 x L85cm EU42: H33 x L88 cm EU44: H34 x L93 cm I've added the all of the them under the videos
Thank you for showing the tutorial without a serger, I am always so confused how to work with jersey fabrics without a serger! ❤

So agree.

It's reversible!!!! We love! Also great tip for the straight to zigzag stitch to have less fabric bulging!
Thanks Mathilde!!! 😘 😘

Well you got it right! These construction tricks make my brain completely stutter I feel retarded XD
making this to complete my matching strawberry patterned pjs!
Strawberry patterned!! Sounds lovely!

Yay!!! So so glad it turned out well!!

So sweet! You're welcome! Go get her!!

Thank you so much!!
This is my favorite! Nice job!
Thanks sweetie
That looks great
Thanks!
I think the pattern says FRONT at the back and BACK at the front! That was a bit confusing but I love the pattern!!!!!
Woof! I updated the files! THANK YOU!!
Don’t have a printer is there a way I can draft this myself?
You could try tracing the lines by putting a piece of paper against your pc's screen
You could sew a blue and a green thin strip together to also make the straps match the colors on both sides 😊 but anyway this is a great video please keep it up!!!!
True that! Are you a perfectionist by any chance?
Haha I think I kinda am! Love your tutorials
😂😘 So Glad, thank you!!
Thank u and thank you for the pattern ♡♡♡
You're welcome :)
This worked so well :)) Thank you 😁
So pleased to read this
I'm so excited to make this!! How many meters/yards of fabric do we need for this one and for the square neck?
Thank you :)
I added the infos in the description!
Fuck yes! Time to redeem myself. Thanks 🙏🏼
You’re amazing, thank you!
😘
thanks for the free pattern :-)
You're very welcome!
Can you use a serger instead of the zigzag stitch?
Yes of course! I now show my tutorials with my regular sewing machine because people using sergers are usually more advanced with sewing, they'll know what to do seeing the zig zag. Which is not the case reversed
Hi! Love your tutorials! Where can I get the patterns? :)
Hi Ana! Here isabelleschultz.ck.page/7bddbd03b0
How is this 90s? I just bought a few like this recently
Fashion is all about 90s nostalgia these days for some reason! But anyways, I could be wrong about my title too!
Where do I learn all the techniques and basics? This was my very first tutorial I watched and I was a bit lost….

your videos are great
It's certainly better to wash them beforehand! If sometimes you can't then iron them with steam! ^^
Hi do the pattern you provided include seam allowance? Or should I add an additional 1/2 inch around the paper I cut out? Thanks!
Hi! Yes, 1 cm included
I love thisss ♥️
Thanksssss

Hi isa how can I make a maxi dress using your pattern 🥲❤️
You can combine it with another pattern, just like I did here ua-cam.com/video/z_iFSx22OPQ/v-deo.html
I tried to cut it out like the pattern but they didn’t line up at all. I cut on the fold but it didn’t work

@@isainstitches Great Thanks! And if I do in two different colors? Do I use half the length for each fabric? Sorry Im a bit confused haha :D
@@imkehrycyk7413 Oh yeah, my measurements are wrong, they only include one color... plan for 2 pieces of the above mentioned measurements
Where is the red top from??
From me! Or anyone who can sew :)
How much does the pattern cost? 😊🤔
It's free, click the link in the description!
Thank you, that's very nice :) 💖
why you re sewing with zigzag stitch?
To preserve the elasticity of the fabric
Hello! I love love love this video. So good. I definitely wanna make this. just have a doubt though, can I make this with cotton fabric ? Thank you !🤍
Hi! Sure, my version is in 95% cotton, 5% elastan. Pick a similar cotton knit, with the same amount or more of elastan
😅youre funny
