thank you so mutch for showing us how to make the patterns I always wanted to make a home made spidey suit since I was a kid I hope your channel gets more support you deserve it you worked hard on this channel stay amazing 8)
You inspired me to make a suit. I'm gonna start off with a mask. Went out and bought some thread. I have a badass paper mache Green Goblin mask I done if you wanna see it.
thank you John I am doing great I just got a new job with Universal Protection here in the Los Angeles area I hope and pray that we someday we could meet in person because you are so gifted in costuming that you should have your own store I am very happy for you
In this and your earlier Making the Flash Costume video (both of which are great), you used hot glue, but also said that you can sew it together instead. I was wondering if you can glue and then sew it together, or if that would be overkill and should only stick to one method or the other? I live in Florida in the US and am concerned about it coming apart in the heat. Not lokking to give anybody a peep show lol. Thanks for sharing all your hard work.
Hey John i have a question. First off, i love what you did, the suit is great, i have nothing against it, but if i wanted to make it, i probably would try to not make the arms one side red and the other side blue, id want that little piece that he has that runs from like the bottom of of his bicep to almost his shoulder. I dont know how to do it like that, do you have any ideas
I am big fan of yours and thanks u so much to tell about civil war suit because I am very exciting and thought any one make civil war suit and teach me because I want to make it so 😂😘😄👍👍👏👏
John, great videos love your work, quick question for you. Do you make any changes to the front and back pieces or do they stay as identical parts? I ask because i was trying to use this technique on some 2 way stretch fabric that i picked up but it didnt workout. Does this technique only work on spandex? Thanks for all the good advise
Okay to find "styflex" its under a different name here its called Peltex. I found two kinds that will work one kind is just the extra firm then their is the ultra firm. Now with the ultra firm one side is a little bit grainy almost like sandpaper like. But you can glue two pieces together to make it more raised up more for a more armor look on anything. You can find them either at a Hobby lobby or at a local Walmart that carries fabric.
You should make the amazing fantasy 15 suit or the 1964 suit

+Justin Smith Yes, I do.
Okay to find "styflex" its under a different name here its called Peltex. I found two kinds that will work one kind is just the extra firm then their is the ultra firm. +Justin Smith Thank you so much.
Can gorilla glue work when glueing together the pieces? Or any other glue that I can use as a replacement for hot glue?
