Making The Amazing Spider-Man Suit | Part 1

- Опубліковано 10 лют 2025
- I made a time lapse showing my progress of painting my new Amazing Spider-Man 1 suit to make it look more screen accurate. This video shows the first 15 hours of painting but at the time of this upload I am about 48 hours into painting the suit. Part 2 will be coming out soon showing how I made the mask, faceshell, lenses and how I will paint the torso back of the suit. Enjoy!

You are my superhero 🦸♂️ Andrew Garfield. I am twenty years eleven months old. I am actually half of your age Andy Garfield. You must be forty years old Andrew Garfield. I really like 👍🏾 you. And you fought the super-villains 🦹♀️ 🦹♂️ 🦹 really perfectly and intelligently and wisely and strategically with a good 😊 attitude! I wish that I can see you in person Spider-Man Peter Parker.
I am not Andrew Garfield lol

Really one of my favorite comments
@@DumPixels I hope it's a copypasta
For me the hardest part about puff painting is making shure you don't ruin what you already worked on by resting your hand in wet paint while your painting new stuff.
For me, puff painting is the hardest part of puff painting. Oh, and anything that resembles puff painting.
The suit is so beautiful
amazing craftsmanship !
I have the EthnCos version of this suit too! Didn't realize how dark the colors really were until i saw them in person. I always figured puff painting the blue parts of the suit would be particularly difficult since the honeycomb pattern there isn't as consistently visible as the Real Heroes Design version (which for colors and details i prefer it a lot more 😀). The mask mine came with also has those annoying folds between the eyes that a faceshell can't get rid of all that well, so I just don't wear the mask 😅 Didn't have that issue with the other version
This is a great comparison 4:18 the one on the bottom looks like TASM 2 Foot and the one on top looks like TASM 1
Dis dude is super patient like if I fucked up one time I’de destroy the whole suit
Underrated
This is proof peter could make his tasm 1 suit nerds

Nice work! I'll be doing the same to my Spiderverse suit soon, has it held up? I'm considering mixing the puffy paint with some liquid latex.
I did the same thing!
Nice work! What fabric did you use for the suit btw?
The fabric is super lycra but I did not sew it myself. I had the suit printed and sewn by Print Costume and then added the puffy paint.
Or do you find the little heads to have the features so fine?
Half Lived, quick question when you did the hexagons for the suit the tiny red ones.
What’s the tulip thing you used cause I need that for my movie
What are the metal applicator tips you are using with the puff paint please? Where to get?
What do you use to prop up the suit and keep it stretched while painting??
Check out parts 2 and 3 because I go over how I did that!
Bro please I beg you can you tell me how you manage your puff painting to be so symmetrical and perfect pls i cant find out mine is too messy
You match the lines perfectly, I have the same exact bottles as you idk how to make it so neat
It takes a steady hand (which I don't have) and more importantly time and patience. If it's rushed it will be noticeable.
where did you get the metal tips for the puff paint bottles?
They came with the bottles I ordered on Amazon
@@halflivedfilmswould you have a link to that?
@@meat1939 check the description on part 2
where did you buy the suit when you didnt puff paint it
Looks like McLeans pattern but I could be wrong, (you can’t get it anymore I don’t think) closest I’ve found to a replica is Gunheads pattern
@@wolfiepearson5327 It was a pattern from Ethancosplays (not perfect but still a very clean pattern) but recently it has seemed that he is also no longer selling his pattern.
@@wolfiepearson5327 Some folks on the RPF still have the pattern files and are willing to share them. Both TASM and TASM 2
@@jacobcenter7374 really? could u share the mclean patteren?
@@SaZzZX_btw I have McLeans pattern now, check RPF
How many bottles of black and red puff paint bottles cause i want to know before I buy the puff paint
I forget exactly how much but it was probably 2-3 bottles for red and 3-4 bottles for black. I only did one layer though so it will change depending on how much you want to put on.
Thanks so much for that so nnow I know how many to buy now thanks so much
@@ttv_d3m0n13 You're welcome!
Bro what size needle?
How do I keep the paint from just soaking into the suit? I’ve tried the smaller red designs n it disappears in minutes. Any advice?
You may need to lay it on thicker and/or add multiple layers. It's intended to absorb into fabric a little but it should still be pretty visible after it dries. It also depends what color paint and fabric you are using.

How much
The suit cost about $130 to get sewn and the suit pattern was about $40. The puffy paint itself was about $10-20 for the bottles but the handmade painting is priceless in my opinion. Just takes a lot of time.
