GREAT BLOKES !!!!............ i think everybody knew that Noddy Holder was just careful with his money 🙂 . (a small little fact).......... my family poisoned my late Dad against me after he suffered a stroke and switched the will ............... BUT ????? . Who took me to see Slade in concert in 1975 when i was 10 years old ?????... EXACTLY !!! . Slade came on and sang "Thanks For The Memory" then "Far Far Away" and Dad felt faint and we had to leave ............. it was Bristol Colston Hall 🙂 . The crowd were just 70's "GREAT yobbys" .... but what a lovely and BEAUTIFUL band Slade were and sheer QUALITY !!!!!!!!! . And Noddy wasn't frightened of the crowd one bit . I still remember him shouting to the side of the microphone :- "YOU ALRIGHT ??? ... WE HAVE A NEW SONG AND IT GOT BANNED .. FOR DIRTY BITS SO WE CHANGED THE LYRICS.....SO WE HAD TO CHANGE THEM ............ BUT WE'RE GONNA SING IT WITH THE DIRTY BITS IN"............ lol . And the next tune was "Far Far Away" .............. ummmmm ????......ABSOLUTELY ANGELIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
