iKON actually used to have more fanboys than fangirls in their trainee days (WIN Era and Mix & Match Era) so these 4th gen group members being fans is not surprising since they probably grew up watching them on TV.

It's because YG trained them to enjoy every performance despite the pressure. YG knows when a performance is forced and "too trying hard". He trained his artists to be as natural and free spirited everytime.

I was literally praying every time they did the assessments ? ( sorry forgot what they were called ) that they would do good. Also get good results. But when I watched the first episode of Kingdom, I didn’t really feel anxious for the guys at all. Also after they announced the criteria and the way it was filmed ?, this show doesn’t really give me survival vibes if that makes sense. The show just feels normal compared to the other ones iKON have competed in. Right now I’m just gonna enjoy the guys stages they have install for us and their interactions with the other groups.
