Also smtm was choice of Bobby and bi. As trainees they wanted to do it. Ikon changed kpop idol rappers image from then on. Soo proud. YG does survival every month in e evaluation. To see the trainees go through it and gain fans early on is a bonus both ways.

Bobby: I’m nervous 😅 iKON: dies laughing There was actually soooo many mistakes in the performance but like Chanwoo said, IT’S NOT iKON IF THERE ISN’T MISTAKES That’s something I did appreciate, the younger groups took it to heart they cried or blamed themselves while iKON just shrugged it off like nothing because at the end of the day you can’t go back anyways. They just looked to the future performance.
@@bikon9706 that's true they always apologize but even if we do see the mistake the whole performance is never ruined or lacking. That's something that is really hard to do because most people just get stuck on that moment and soon enough it rubs off on the other members.
I loved the entire interaction between all groups even with MNET treating IKON and SF9 like shit, the stand out moments ALL OF THEM, but what has shown me is how stupid some of these fanbases are, do you see any of them fighting NO, Ikon knew they were been treated like crap, so did SF9, BTOB always brings in the audience it is a huge mistake to leave them out. IKON are a bloody good group who are treated unfairly by everyone except YG, YG have always known what they have. YG artists are always been accused of been cold and not very friendly yes they are but whether you believe it or not they are all incredibly shy, and YG lets their talent speak for its self.
My absolute favorite thing about ikon has always been how they “de-stress” they basically joke around and have dance competitions laughing themselves silly until they get on the stage. I’ve seen so many groups look terrified and like they’re going to throw up or pass out from being the nervous but iKON is like “yep, well it’s time.” They’re always positive and try to enjoy the stage no matter what. I think that’s why the first two stages they were really unhappy about their performance. They didn’t feel like it was fun but saw it as a chore, afterwards they practiced hard but at the same time they were like “f**k it, this is our first and last time for this so whatever happens happens” what’s funny is that they mess up soo freaking much but even fans can’t catch it until we rewatch like 20x They can make those mistakes blend seamlessly because ikon doesn’t remember choreo after a while and they just vibe the entire time.
coming back here because I miss iKON, but it makes me sad to see how YG mismanaged this very talented and promising group... They were basically the monster idols during their peak but they somehow lost momentum because of YG's handling..
