This is set to become a Tamiya classic I'm sure! The original Wild One was probably slightly let down by the box art colour scheme but this version is superb plus adds some extra little details to improve scale realism!
Sweet! I have been waiting for this. Mine arrived today but i have a few builds to complete before i start building it. In the meantime i will enjoy your build.
What a fantastic looking kit! I had overlooked this to be honest, but now it’s got my attention! I’m looking forward to seeing Matteo take it out for a run
Very nice build so far Matteo. I haven’t been able to find a Wild One yet, but will keep looking. I started my first ever Tamiya build yesterday-a 2017 HotShot. I like Tamiya’s manuals, but get a little lost with the parts bags. I think I have my work bench organized now and after I paint the body it should finish up quickly.
Sweet! I just finished mine and have not yet been able to run it...Tried my hand at a build video lol! Look forward to all the adventures ahead! Oh also, would you know of a lipo 2s, or a decent nihm pack that fits in this model? Thanks
Hi Matteo. Another great video. Well done! Can’t wait for the next episode when you assemble the gearbox. I have ordered one of these Wildone Blockhead Motors Edition from my local hobby shop, but I won’t get it until at least March here in Australia. Feels like I’ve been waiting forever. Hope you’re enjoying the build 👍
Great video, brings back memories of my building a Wild One back in the early/mid 1980s. I loved that car - I tweaked it mildly for reliability and slightly enhanced performance 😊👍
Awesome video Matteo👍💪. This is a really great buggy. Tamiya put a lot of value parts into this kit. But the motor🤔? I mean it hasn't to be a high end motor, but even in some cheap kits they put torque tuned motors into.
I'm still upset about Horizon Hobby screwing me out of this Kit. I Pre-ordered and PRE-PAID on the DAY Tamiya announced it last year. .. I watched other big Channels get theirs first, then they delayed mine for 3 months. More Channels showed theirs! Horizon delayed me another 3 months 😒 Then they told me "not until Summer"!!! 😭😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I was so upset, I canceled my order. The excitement is GONE. However I am very happy for you my Friend!! You definitely should have one. I will watch the build with my usual interest! 😊👍👍
Hallo Matteo.
Lieben, lieben Dank. LG Heike
I have too many RCs so can't buy anymore so watching you build is the next best thing.

I'm wondering how many is too many??

Currently building one of these also, nice easy build with nice touches from Team Blockhead. Can't wait for warmer weather to zip it around.

Hi Matteo, do you think to install LED lights? It would be nice to paint in chrome the inside but I think you have already considered. Ciao Nanni

Yes, this is coming... 👍😊

Hallo Matteo. Mfg
Ja, das habe ich vor... 👍😊
These kits are becoming harder to get. Not sure why?
👍👍👍😍
I know what is inside the box, because I did buy it to.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭
I prefer the original Wild One
😂👍
