It's actually the opposite. Rogan used to make sure everyone knew that Kevin James and Howie Mandel were "trained killers/animals/murderers" and not just corny TV guys. Music is a performance art. Some live versions are better if the sound is good. Some aren't. Sometimes bands add extra long breakdowns or extra verses when performing. These can be cool to hear.
Howie Mandel trying to be Howard Stern does not fit at all. Dude is already a mysophobe, and the whole "shock jock" things just makes him even more annoying. (Especially when he curses at his daughter) I always see him as the guy who voiced the characters in the childrens tv series "bobbys world" growing up, seeing him act like a deuce on camera just feels weird. Also, if you compare his podcasts "set" to something like Joe Rogan or Tiger Belly or the flagrant podcast (most of them really) it just has a really weird and opressive vibe to it. Music is a performance art. Some live versions are better if the sound is good. Some aren't. Sometimes bands add extra long breakdowns or extra verses when performing. These can be cool to hear.

Howie Mandel trying to be Howard Stern does not fit at all. Dude is already a mysophobe, and the whole "shock jock" things just makes him even more annoying. (Especially when he curses at his daughter) I always see him as the guy who voiced the characters in the childrens tv series "bobbys world" growing up, seeing him act like a deuce on camera just feels weird.
Also, if you compare his podcasts "set" to something like Joe Rogan or Tiger Belly or the flagrant podcast (most of them really) it just has a really weird and opressive vibe to it. A podcast should be something fun, not whatever Howie's putting out.
