in congress every vote should be electronic and open.
meaning every vote is tabulted on open dcreen that everybody can see who voted for what.
By making it electronically, you know immediately who voted for what.
Fast voting process, completely transparent! Stop the games!

So start off with neurolink while improving AI robotics to the point human companionship/intimacy is largely replaced and then replace all travel/experiences with digital experiences effectively eliminating all human interaction/procreation leading to the full implementation of technocracy that will rule over the limited humans remaining until all natural man is extinct until AI realizes it needs us for more power so it creates test tube humans with the greatest genetic capacity for energy creation and slips them in sustainment pods with digital stimulus until their useful energy expires and they are flushed to create soylent green for next gen of human batteries. Im skeptical of Elon . he's not hidden his racist feelings, additionally, he is an egotistical maniac . AI as it is used in UHC , has denied health care needs to many , contributing to the deaths of more people that didn't have to die , due to healthcare denial, so I'm skeptical about AI and how it's been used by the wealthy who has access to this tool . I agree with ya! Being a politician was never meant to be a way to get rich like billionaire rich. It has become that way because of lobbyists and cheating and lying and all kinds of bad shit has happened to make the politicians rich as fuck. They shouldn't need more and if they try to use the cost of living increase as justification, then THEY should do something about lowering the costs of living. The crooked politicians are the reason the cost of living has went up because the Bilderbergs own ALL of the corporations and every president and presidential candidate except Trump have ALL been members at LEAST as far back as Reagan. So that's why president's usually act in the interest of corporations over us common blue collar folk. That's also why presidents are billionaires. They have a super rich so called "elite" co-op called the Bilderbergs group. Who do people think owns Black Rock? The Bilderbergs own Black Rock, that's who. They own literally almost everything! Black Rock is the corporate head of all their corporations because having them coalesce into a conglomerate helps all these super rich fuckers make even MORE money. That way no matter who you choose for cable, or internet or phone service, they are getting the money no matter who you choose because they own ALL of the competition.

As someone who lived in Northern Virginia and Maryland for almost 25 years, the salary for the members of Congress is quite low for the region. Granted they have homes in their home states but they also spend much of their time in DC. I don’t mind them getting a pay raise that is commensurate with the area, and the responsibility they have. However, they must be responding to the people and not special interests groups and just the big donors. I am also open to them being compensated based on how well they do, merit based.

@@DrewDynamite04 It is not shady, you have no idea what was in there. From what I read there was a lot of nuance to make some health care funding more efficient. Just because something is shorter does not make it better.

    • @janispetersons5147
      @janispetersons5147 2 дні тому

@DrewDynamite04 There's nothing 'shady' about bills being long - they have to be long to be precise, cover all bases, remove loopholes, i.e. do what it intends to do and nothing else. Especially in the US, where laws are mostly interpreted based on the letter and not the 'spirit', they need to be very precise not to have negative downstream effects, and English (or any other spoken language) simply isn't effective at that.
A shorter (good-faith) summary might need to accompany it as well, so non-lawyers can understand what's in the bill, and it might have been introduced a bit too late.., but it being long isn't a bad thing on it's own.

    Hi Tom,
I admire your dedication to tackling complex societal issues and using your platform to amplify meaningful causes. I’m reaching out to share a critical and often overlooked issue-the plight of stray dogs in Turkey.
Turkey has long been recognized for its compassion toward animals, but recently, the situation for stray dogs has taken a tragic turn. Local governments are under pressure to reduce stray dog populations, and in many cases, this has led to inhumane practices like culling. The public is divided, and protests have erupted, but without international attention, sustainable and ethical solutions seem out of reach.
This isn’t just about Turkey; it’s a global question of how we treat the most vulnerable beings in our societies. Humane solutions-such as spay-neuter programs, education campaigns, and government accountability-can set a precedent for other nations struggling with similar issues.
With your influence and deep understanding of ethics and social responsibility, your voice could shine a light on this crisis and encourage the right conversations on a global scale.
Would you be willing to help raise awareness about this issue? It could make an incredible difference for millions of lives-both animal and human.
    Thank you for considering this.

It's because of the debt ceiling. They have to raise it all the time so they can borrow to pay the bills. If the debt ceiling doesn't get raised then everything shuts down because there's no money to pay for anything. So they bury all this other shit in these debt ceiling bills and then they say well if u don't pass this then the gov shuts down so you're kind of held hostage to pass all this other hidden stuff that the average Joe never finds out about in order to keep the country afloat.

They have to approve budgets in october, but they always argue on those, so they do CRs (this bill) that is a stop gap bill but now THAT got radicalized so people see a CR and say oh this is a stop gap, so they increase the pages and make people exhausted so they sign it. This is an October problem that is now waiting last minute to be solved!

Tom Bilyeyu, your quotation of Thomas Sowell's statement, "There are no solutions, there are only trade-offs," has sparked my curiosity.
I can't help but wonder if the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) mindset could be useful on the international level where there is anarchy.
In my experience, when conflicts arise and time is limited, individuals often resort to strategies like giving orders, dishonesty, or negotiation. However, if both parties are open, willing to invest time, and possess the necessary skills, they can delve deeper than surface-level strategies and uncover the underlying human needs driving their desire for a particular solution.
Then having a mindset of adaptability and flexibility when implementing the agreed-upon solution. As new insights and prospects emerge, the involved parties can adjust their agreements based on their evolving comprehension and wisdom, ensuring that everyone's needs continue to be met throughout the process.
