Very nice explanation, I had a ATC on VATSIM the other day ask me to amend my flight plan and I was like a deer in headlights not knowing how to read the FP he sent to me 😂😂 thanks for the help

I've tried creating a flight plan with simbrief, but it won't give me the sid or star information, I have found this to be my biggest problem with flight planning, that's why I end up using the In built planner, which is not realistic, thanks for the information though it is really clear. Gary.
Not all routes that simbrief generate will have a Sid or star. You can input manually if needed. Hope this helps 😊

Hi, you are completely off track at 12:30 when you entered SLT VOR. When you show the 4 choices of SLT next page. You talked about distances in nm. It is not the case. The figures are the North and West geographic coordinates in degrees and minutes with the decimal.
Yes, he selected a waypoint on the western side of Greenwich, but Pakistan is on the eastern side

Hi, It looks like you selected the wrong SLT point. The information shown is not distance away, but its in latitude and longitude or Degrees Minutes and Seconds. The one you selected chose the SLT in PA Hope this clears up the issue you were having with the SLT waypoint. I hope this also helps others watching this video.

does the altitude constraints work?
Hi good stuff but I have problems with way points connecting to Sid’s.Why can’t I use Little nav map to make a flight plan in the a320 no.Before the last update I had no issues with the a320?

You messed up at 13:15. What you see there is not the waypoints distance from your position but its global coordinates. You picked the wrong SLT for your route. The one you picked is in the western hemisphere so not even close to Pakistan. That's why your flight plan is also messed up after that with that long straight line :)
13:26 those numbers after the degree symbol are probably in minutes of lat,long. They are probably not distance in nm. Distance isn't shown. But does this list always sort by nearest on top?

When selecting departure and arrival runways, how do you know which runways are currently in use to select? Is there a website which tells you this info? or do you select one and ATC tells you? I am a full on beginner, so I dont really have any idea

yeah because the A320 available on Xbox is very basic, a lot of functions do not work.
We don't have the Fly by Wire or Fenix available on PC.
A310 is much more realistic, and available on Xbox.
Sadly simbreif is no longer free :(
