You should not overreact those things to prevent panic among crew and encouraging others to do similair reactions. I always carry 2 fulgurium powered stun batons if possible for a double swing which guarantees 11 second stun, then I inject victims with europan handshake's morbusine and flee until they die out inevitably. This tactic won't work too well at ladders but reduces risk of friendly fire anywhere else. If you didn't really had to rescue anyone then simply flooding them all would make things easier. Enemies without diving suits would be doomed to die. If someone is behind door spam them to prevent them from firing in time. Sometime if you try to use plasma cutter on walls they try to repair them. They won't dare to enter flooded rooms. If they hadve diving suits to do it it will take them some time to break through sheer force and flood their current room.
