- If its a demolition hammer your after, look no further than the bosch GSH 11 E. This hammer as been around for the last 25 years and you will find them on every building site around the world. And it's not unusual to finder hammers like this one from 1998 still running and working every day.
This is just a few that came in today for repair. the main failure with them is simply leads and brushes needing replaced. and the odd service once the hammer starts to weaken after a few years work.

Please do more of this content I respect your opinion on tools much more than other UA-cam experts
I’ve spent 10 years in the game and Dean really really knows his shit.

He said nothing, is this a joke comment?
Definitely the best allround hammer available. Only downside is im now already 2 and half week waiting for a service kit and bosch apparently still didn't send it according to my dealer.
Lol. " Ahh the forbidden chocolate" 😂
Have a Bosch GBH10 from 1998, bloody heavy but get the job done in jig time. (If you can hold on....)
Work with all sorts of machines larger and smaller and there's nothing that breaks concrete like this machine. It's something about the harmonics of it that makes it better and it works for decades in the most extreme conditions. To anyone looking to buy it's a no brainer.
Fantastic hammer ,but the switches always fall out !!,great work Dean, wish you're shop was near me !!
This guy is awesome, great job 👏 my respect
What brand of grease to putting that hammer drill
i like bosch engineering i dont change my bosch brushless drill its switches are smooth and precise
Pretty sure I’ve worked on one downunder, but it was red and branded Hilti?
And do you sell them long bits you do be using on the power tools
Thanks for sharing.
Can you tell us your opinion about dewalt sds max perferator , exmp : d25614 , d25733 and d25773 ?
Bosch GSH 11 E and Bosch GSH 16 best service friendly machines ( you can easy repair 6 to 8 machines in one working day ) plus GSH 11 E is superior in quality compared to GSH 11 VC
That white Grease is that Bosch grease or is that Hilti hammer Grease that one
Any idea when I can drop my gsh11e up for surgery dean.
Refreshingly clickbait free title 👍 Others should take note
😎
Need my Bosch looked at dean. Where you based in Donegal sir. Tyrone myself local.
Any hope of fixing my Bosch 11e.
Certainly got the biggest switch I've ever seen. Is it taking the mick. I wouldn't mind getting one of them but they are 650quid in the uk and i'd only use it once every 10 years. I've got a 110v kango hammer drill which i've used to break old concrete but its a brute.
If it were me I'd stick with the Kango, very reliable and powerful machines. If it's just for home use it will last forever, they don't make them now like they used to!
No-one makes demolition hammers like Bosch
What is the difference between a GSH 11 and the 11316EVS? I tried looking it up, but I can’t find anything.
Nothing, they are the exact same machine. Just different names for the US
@@deandohertygreaser I knew I could count on you. Thank you Dean! You’re the best
Sledgehammer and a keen youth on the end is the best demolition hammer. if they can’t swing it it is good for a laugh
What’s the difference between this and the Bosch 11265EVS. Mine has had many repairs for very light duty use. Maybe it’s a shittier model in their line up
IMO Hilti top dog in the concrete industry
Keep the vids coming! Cheers from The states
11316EVS is the US model number for the bosch GSH 11 E. It's a 16 joule sds max demolition hammer/breaker. Your 11265EVS is a 6 joule sds max combination rotary hammer. Invariably, the hammer only unit will have less things to possibly go wrong with it. It's also about three times as powerful. Have you used the Makita's? I don't like their sds plus (the aux handle is a nightmare to work with) but I reckon their SDS Max stuff is likely better than Hilti.
@@robertrada6040 Good to know, wasn’t impressed with the Bosch personally, but it does the job for how many times it’s been needed to be repaired. I have not used Makita. Used their impacts/drills years ago but that’s it. Have the TE60 Nuron and is so sweet
Any chance of fixing my machine same as this one dean. Local. Won’t hammer.
Long waiting list at the moment, plus summer holidays at the end of the month, it could be 3-4 weeks
Cheers for the reply. Yes I can wait sir until you can have a look an fix it then. Many thanks John.
We have some Hilti's that are really good..
Recently rented a Hilti. Indeed nice machines but for the price of. 1hilti you can buy 2 or 3 gsh11e hammers. And the Hilti doesn't take SDS max but only Hilti inserts. Have you seen the price of those😂
Do you see Hilti at all?
Yes, to much. I'm actulay not taking hilti in anymore soon. They are not what they use to be and there us going to be loads coming soon. Ordering parts with hilti is a real pain, so I'm not fixing their tools anymore
Is that because Hilti tend to fix their own tools (unlike Milwaukee) & off the if it's not fixed within 3 days you do not pay for the repair?
