What Do Different Goggle Lens Tints Do?

What is your thoughts on the reactive type lenses? I have noticed a couple companies now offering this option.

The photo chromatic lenses are pretty rad. Upside is you rarely have to change your lens. Downside is if theres a certain tint you like for certain conditions you'd still need replacement lenses. If you are not super picky about your lenses its a great way to go but I definitely wouldn't use that feature as the base for what goggles you get.

There are a lot of good options to be honest. You'll find most goggles from company to company the quality of the goggles is going to be similar within the same price ranges. If you spend more you get more.

Has this brand improved? I did a fair amount of research last year and only Smith and Oakley had the best reviews. Which is unfortunate because I wanted Anon for the magnetic face cover.

Anon is awesome, I've been running only Anon goggles since they introduced the M2. Used the M4 for the last few years and I just got a pair of the new M5's. Some of the best goggles I've ever owned.

oakley prizm hi pink vs prizm clear, what works best in whiteout/overcast conditions because straight clear sucks!

I'd go with the Hi Pink. The Prizm Clear will help define shadows a bit more in the snow but if you don't like clear in general, you probably aren't going to like the Prizm clear.

@PeterGlennSports I like clear at night but without the prizm in it it's hard to see shadows. Rose is better in whiteout than clear.

I wear yellow and only yellow. Seems easiest. Suppose good eyesight helps.

Yellow is super popular but definitely can be a bit too bright on those sunny days. If you like the yellow, you should try a bronze type tint for those sunny, bluebird days.
