Absolutely nothing!!! That is for sure. Today I had an epic 90 minute battle taking out an old concrete trough. It was built in a time when concrete was used neat with no sand I think.
You’ve done a fantastic job putting in the kitchen appliances, sink, etc. your very clever and the burner is in too it’s all coming together for yourself and family
The kitchen looks beautiful. You did an amazing job. Watching you and your son clean up brought back some very happy memories of my days renovating. Thanks so much, I am looking forward to the next video.
William loves to get stuck in. What a world we live in where he can look back at these moments any time he likes in the future! Glad the video reignited those memories for you Diane.
Houston, you have liftoff - it’s a go. Kitchen looks brilliant and the fire must be so welcome. Here I am writing about progress and I don’t even know your first name or nickname. You’ve done an amazing job.
It hit 26 in the sitting room. Kitchen not so warm! It can take months to dry a house out that hasn't had any heat because of the big stone walls but we are moving in the right direction. Boys room has gone from 6 degrees to 12 degrees with no heat on in there yet.
So well done, all your hard work is paying off. It will be a lovely home for you and your family. French plumbing can be a tad challenging at times. The kitchen is looking wonderful.
It's a nice size. In the place we are staying at the moment the sink has two bowls. I can't think why you would need two! Maybe if you were washing and had suds in one and rinse in the other? One big one is all we need.
Bonjour, good work 👏👏👏 Juste une idée ou deux: 1) pour le poêle ( vous y avez certainement pensé): installer une grille tout autour (protection des enfants afin qu'ils ne se brûlent pas), avec petite porte pour que vous puissiez y accéder ( mettre le bois) 2) faire un muret juste un peu plus haut que le plan de travail à droite : pour éviter que des choses tombent toujours sur le sol, côté porte d'entrée (expérience de vie quasi similaire). 😊
Amazing progress, glad you are proud of yourself, you deserve to be Is there a vent fan in the old kitchen chimney? Water and heat, well done. Its 6800 francs for a similar sink in Canada btw. Congrats on 2k subscribers!
Thanks! There will be an extractor fan going above the hob in the old chimney. Not sure whether to vent it up or use filters. Will have a look down the chimney from the access hatch in the loft next week and see what is happening in there.
It's the little things Josephine like being able to wash a cup in hot water..... in the kitchen! And not having to do it in the cold water in the bath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good idea to put up those decorative cornices and ceiling roses. Makes the place looks good and finished. I have seen these type of cornices and roses used by people renovating chateaus as well. 👍
Your doing a brilliant job nothing goes smoothly in a old house 🏡

Fantastic kitchen and woodstove! Love how Mina (or Mana) found the sunny spot on the floor, sweet.
It's Mina. The sensible one! Mana would have just jumped out the kitchen window and gone off chasing cats or rabbits or anything else.
Haha, love your wit!@@dublinvanlife466

Dave is his name ❤
Or just … BOB THE BUILDER 😆
Thanks Brian. The heat is very welcome in the house. Spring is welcome too! It's David or Dave.
What a result Dave .. never thought I would see 22 degrees in the house 🔥😊. Fire is fantastic . Kitchen looks wow 💪

French plumbing and French electrics! Can't wait for all the family to sleep there and get up and have our first breakfast in the kitchen.
Absolutely love the sink. Watching your son use the shop vacuum was precious. Your house is beautiful.

Yumm a very light blue ceiling. Might be nice ❤
Good Work, helped by William Tell.
Yes William Tell but I think of the lone Ranger or Robin Hood. I am old ❤
Bonjour, good work 👏👏👏

It's starting to take shape Sylvia! Foot will be on the gas for the next week.
You need an eco fan
I just said that today. I didn't know they were called that. Two blades or four?

It really does finish things off and hides all the dodgy plastering in the corners!!!!
