I did a 2:14 run with physical build last week,didn't expect gambler could do better here. Was about to do an advanced materia guide and this video actually helped me a lot. Thanks,bro. And GG!
I didn’t mess around with gambler yet. I was under the impression that it used weapon skills too. Being only magic makes it much stronger than I initially thought.
@@zedzilla if i recall correctly it’s a 1:22 with what looks like a thunder genji gloves rush-in build, he literally just blasts through it. Look him up just type cloud vs. the warriors world record
Since you didn't share your loadout, this is what I think you have, but its still incomplete: thunder - hp absorb | thunder - mp absorb | thunder - swiftcast first strike gambler | Magic Up Skill Master | steadfast block + precision | X + X Not sure what you have on those last 2 slots, but you could probably use ATB Boost to speed up the run a bit more You could also use Enemy Skill for an extra 5% MATK, but i don't think it really matters much
The trick is having only lightning Enemy skill and atb boost get added to the list of commands that gambler can perform If atb boost is used multiple times you'll get an unlucky message and no effect
@@zedzillapresumably the they had the right materia except the block materias are instead Lightning-Magic Focus and maybe like ATB boost and luck up or something?
I'm guessing that skill master can proc if you get all 3 spells? I noticed you were getting some free ATB and all you used was 2 skills, prime mode and gambler
@@stuffandthings617 why isn't it completable? If you did quests in an old save file, once you beat the game that progress is saved. You can always go back to it through chapter select and finish them
Cloud's is the best choice because 3 out of 5 enemies are weak to a single element. I beat it all legendaries with a similar build, and I'd say Cloud was the easiest
You have to become the Ultra Party Animal to get this materia. I was so confused when I got it because I had already gotten a trophy that made me think I had all of the materia.

This build looks like something that would work great with Barret and Quake materia.

You get it for completing the quest "Ultimate Party Animal"
Pretty sure it's the last quest that pops up if you've completed all other quests
