Wow! This is so cool. You have to make an in depth tutorial on how you process the video to go from tiny planet, to "normal view" and back to tiny planet. What software and settings do you use.

Hey Steve- i actually made a tutorial for this.. search my channel for 'Insta360 Studio - FULL TUTORIAL'. Then my ebook (link in the description) teaches the best tiny planet techniques to really get the most of the software :)

@Life in 360: Any ideas why Insta360 studio won´t read the Gear 360 2017 files? It says they are corrupt =(
My guess is you didn't stitch them first in the Samsung software..

Wow, you looked liked a Bigfoot hiding behind that tree! Your videos are so beautiful and smooth. You could probably do some cool stuff in the forest. I’m the first 360 Bigfoot Hunter, but it won’t be long before others with way more subs catch on. This is definitely gonna grow as a media, as it becomes more and more user friendly.

Hey Ben. why did you shoot your "for sell" footage on the 2016 360 instead of the 2017? Wouldn't the true 4K of the 2017 cam be a better choice?

Hi Ben, may I know what equipment do you use for audio recording and how do you merge them together?
And have you heard of the 360fly 4k camera? It doesn't record in full 360 but it seems like in reviews it provides a better photo quality and comprehensive functional app along with it.
+ixxac07 hey, I use a zoom recorder and a rode lapel mic for sound, and I wouldn't recommend 360fly because it has a massive blind spot.. doesn't matter about quality when half the image is missing 😂
Hey Ben - how about putting together a workflow video or 2? 1 each for video and stills. Specifically how do you mange multiple images after you go on a shoot with regard to stitching and then editing? What apps? On your phone or hour desktop?

I like your video and ideas a lot, but I have a question about your choice of camera... You use the original Samsung Gear 360, which you sort-of disparage in your latest 360 camera recommendation video (September 2018)
My guess is that either it was and is till the best resolution, and/or it has since been replaced, please explain (So i can better decide on my own choice for 360 stock videos)

Sick video! Love this, the harbour looks amazing, and so crisp! What do you edit your videos in? I've got the Xiaomi 360 cam and the editing is so crap in the app and I can't seem to get it right in Filmora.. when I upload to UA-cam the quality is really shaky and strange. oh just noticed that your videos are not the full 360 (as in no freedom to look wherever I want) could that be the reason why yours are so much shaper?
ep82chi you just noticed? I thought it was very obvious that this is a tiny planet video and not a 360 😂 and yes, this will make it seem higher res, since it's not as stretched.

you're not allowed to take public photos??
Of course you can!!! But when you're in major public areas and city landmarks, you need to be careful about not looking too professional, or security guards will tell you to go away for not having a filming permit.
why would you be escorted off or arrested? I would think it looks like your just taking a photo. Is that not allowed?

Why are you afraid of security guards? Aren't you allowed to film people passing by or so? :/
+Max ime in public venues they REALLY don't like you shooting professionally, especially around Sydney. You need to pay for permits and whatnot. Mobile phone selfies are fine, but anything more and you will usually get questioned by security- this is coming from someone who used to be a filmmaker and had this happen hundreds of times 😂
WTF! A security guard appoached you just for filming in the public with a smal camera? I could understand it if it would be private property but not on a public place. People are overreacting a bit these days. Thx God i got an official press id card as photo journalist.
