Thank you Francis for bringing us video's and updates on the truth of what is really happening in Ukraine and for putting yourself in the harms way! Please keep yourself safe and well!
Francis, you are an amazing human being! Thank you for the work that you do. It definitely has meaning, know that! May God keep you safe, and may peace come to Ukraine quickly
Ukraine gained its independence in 1991 after the collapse of the USSR. On December 1, 1991, 92% of Ukrainians who participated in a national referendum voted for independence. In every region of the country, including Crimea, a majority supported separation. According to the U.S. State Department, Ukraine has the right and opportunity to reclaim the territories currently occupied by Russia and restore its internationally recognized borders that it had when it became independent in 1991. This is a complex and sensitive issue that involves many international actors. It is important to note that any resolution must be consistent with international law and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries involved. Crimea is Ukraine 🇺🇦 Luhansk is Ukraine 🇺🇦 Donetsk is Ukraine 🇺🇦 Zaporizhia is Ukraine 🇺🇦 Kherson is Ukraine 🇺🇦
I like your comment about fostering an interest in what’s going on in the world and actually caring about it. Not enough people do this and it allows misinformation to sway opinions too easily.
Thank you for answering my question! The last live Q&A you did, you guys had run out of time right as I was going to ask this. Thanks for adding on the little addition of the civilian and soldier dynamic in cities and adding an answer for the troop quality question that was there as well. Stay safe and I hope for more of these in the future!
Thank you, such a genuine soul. I was really shocked in your last videos about gases being used. It was a shame and disgraceful. I hope each man at least has cbrn equipment. It rarely seems as if they do.
This war is the most clear example of a struggle between good and evil since the Second World War. I'm proud to see a fellow Aussie helping Ukraine. You're doing a good job mate, keep it up. Stay strong Ukraine!

Actually the referendum was phased as 'do you agree with the Rada decision to declare independence' and at any rate in 1994 Donetsk and Lugansk held referenda declaring autonomy from Kiev.
So does the Kyiv Independent need to partner with a US broadcasting station to get in front of people, as Farrell describes, who are less immune to Russian propaganda?

@@yvanmargineanu9807 And yet there are less and less people, less and less territory and less and less sovereignty. How come? I don't think it's that complex either.
Is it just me, but in past wars/conflicts you always saw war correspondents from major news networks in helmets and flack jackets reporting from the ground consistently. Now, you never see any reporting from the ground, why?
In US main stream media is TV mostly editorialized . College educated citizens here don’t recognize difference in editorials and news . Is Ukraine News any different?
Women have been in the Ukranian military forces for years, they are used more in medevac and communication, but there are some excellent snipers among the women.
The music and the interspersed profile angles are beneath the dignity of your work. There is no need for such production-value gimmicks, they only make this look more like reality-TV and less like genuine journalism.
"Diminishing quality of troops" - those people are not meat, and everyone sees them as they have duty to fight for what EU and NATO tell them to - I'm sure that even Russians feel more sorry for all the Ukrainian lives lost than their "backers". A whole nation has been plunged into a mindless war they can only die in and victory is just a pipe dream. Ukrainians are a beautiful and talented people, more so than in most other European countries and yet they have made themselves disposable beyond belief. The Russians would never do that, and in this very difference lies the Ukrainian tragedy we're all watching day by day.
@@amalgamated- Yeah sure - Ukraine loosing territory, lives, economy and critical infrastructure is of course nothing but a Russian propaganda. Sacrificial lamb.
The US has never rebuilt any country that they destroyed.Russia fought with Chechnya and after the war they rebuilt Chechnya today the Chechens are allies of the Russians. All over the Donbass even before the war is over the Russians are already rebuilding. There was a time when being in the west meant you had a better lifestyle than someone in Russia, today Russia by PPP has the largest economy in Europe,so even if Ukraine became an ally of Russia they would have a better lifestyle than most countries in Europe.

Do you wonder if any of your electronics led to the “direct hit” on the trenches near Torestsk that you recently visited?
It likely won't be the electronics but thermal scopes used by the Russians. Body heat detectors.
Thanks for informing us.
How is mobilisation and training going. Could women of some age cohort be mobilized or would society reject that?
Women have signed up in droves. There's no real need to draft them.
