I’ve only seen the first few minutes, something has come up. But I’ll be back! This is great! Don’t know the argument yet but general thrust puts words to my intuitions and arguments for years. The implications are vast.
@@JS-ti8ny I will in a minute. So far I’ve only made several donations to Jake Broe’s 2 astonishing campaigns providing upgraded pickups/SUVs to Ukrainian field units. And 10-I5 donations to congressional candidates, mostly extremely close senatorial races-$30 x 2, early and late. I live on Social Security and a small pension. But I had already decided, spurred on by Jonathan’s reminder, to make a $50 donation out of my limited savings for civilian support from the list. It’s not much but it’s what I have. I figure that these donations will be made up by the $350 combined that I will earn as a poll worker in New York City. 17-18 hour day plus previous training. But no danger and minimal harassment unlike one hears about elsewhere. FYI: I voted early on Monday. I was surprised at the heavy turnout, and I’ve worked a number of elections. Voting was smooth, no significant lines. I was there for a while, had to update address and vote affidavit. Odd story about my change of address, completed at the Board of Elections headquarters!, never being entered in the voter database. At the same time I, of course, had updated my poll worker credentials. That went through just fine! Only checked on the voting roll update a week ago and discovered the old address. I had only moved 4 blocks, same candidates, but different polling location. But if I had voted using the old address I would have technically been committing an easily identified felony! Oh how elections deniers would have loved this! What a mess.
Question for fellow Australian Mick if he's reading the comments. With the US seemingly on a path to turning inwards, no matter the party in power, shouldn't Australia be thinking seriously about it's own nuclear weapons or at least positioning itself to be able to rapidly develop and field one in the future?
If we bordered on ruSSia, China, North Korea, alright, but we are lucky to have a defensive moat all around. But I agree we should become more self reliant as it is obvious nobody can rely on the Yanks.
Good work Mick. I can’t believe that we would allow the gifting of Ukrainian military power, innovation and industrial military complex to Russia for their use elsewhere in Europe down the road by allowing Ukraine to fall.
Thank you both for this great interview! Mick Ryan, asI see it, is a conversation partner in the class of Ben Hodges, with a strong knowledge of the asian sphere.
A US bipartisan Congressional commission reported all the US military branches are unprepared for a long war with a near peer, ie China, and critical stocks of anti-missile missiles are critically low due to prolonged US Navy operations in the Red Sea against the Houthi attacks. US Navy senior leaders admit critical resources for the defense of Taiwan and American bases and ships are diverted to the wars in the middle east and Ukraine. Joe Biden's & Kamala Harris's incompetence unnecessarily prolonged this war in Ukraine and in Gaza by first denying critical aid to Ukraine only to trickle barely enough for Ukraine's survival and placing absurd restrictions on the use of American weapons.
According to Sun Tzu the state never benefits from a long war. I understand China is not a party..but an ally of Russia. So I am not sure China really benefits.
The real problem is can the United State depend on any of her allies to pull their fair share! For 75 years, every American president criticized Europe for failing to adequately fund their own defense while significantly cutting their defense budgets, forces and manufacturing for over 30 years. Worse, President Trump, a strong leader with moral courage, wisely called on America's allies to pay their fair share for their defense commitments and stop sending billions of euros to Russia for cheap Russian LNG/ oil. He was roundly mocked by many European politicians, cultural elites and many Silicon Curtain guests as a fool, narcissist, isolaltionist and fear monger.
Another great, great interview. Thank you for providing some many quality videos. 👍😎
Another tremendous guest dear Jonathan. Another expert, whose advice should have been heeded and must be taken in highest regard.
Thank you Mick and Ben. Excellent conversation with the wide view. 💙💛
Mr Fink...we press the 👍 button at the START of your interviews.

Why is it that America allows only Australia to make HIMARS, as well as its ships, and now its sniper rifles?
I agree about everything this gentleman talking about the west is slow and the commies are coming in slowly
What is the point now of Europe continuing the punitive trade embargo its inflicted on Australia for generations?
Totally agree with everything he says, except Trump would be a disaster for the world

Since 1917 Australia has given America more than it’s received.
why did he never serve? - weren't it the elites that were good at avoiding the Vietnam draft?
