Happy season 2 day!
When they announced season 2 without Theo I jokingly texted @JuliGrisel that I should vid Sidney and Charlotte to Traitor. And then I just couldn't let the idea go hahaha. (I rewatched season 1 over the past two weeks which helped a lot too.) Despite the disappointment that we're not getting a happy ending for these two I'm looking forward to watching the new season! Hopefully I'll like the new characters as much as the old ones!

I'm so mad at Theo for not coming back for season 2.
I hate that by the end of their relationship this song fits them so well...ANYWAY, this is gorgeous, totally sums up how I think most of the fandom felt about the news, and a bittersweet goodbye to them and hello to the new season and all it's potential!
We really begged for a season 2 for years so they could reunite only to GET IT and … have them kill Sidney offscreen immediately. The gods really do laugh at some of us

I’m so sad bc I don’t feel any chemistry between the new suitors and Charlotte 😩 the show feels a lil off film/color wise too. It’s gonna take a bit to adapt to.
You couldn't have picked a better song, I've watched many edits with this song but they never hit me like this one 💔😭 I feel betrayed just like Charlotte, I'm hoping in this second season there can be a man worthy of her, because she deserves the world!

Great video, gives full emotional weight to the situation they were in. How things would have been different if AD and others hadn't gambled on a renewal. Not sure how S1 would have wrapped up. BUT I love the new season + new characters and am grateful for every phase of Charlotte's journey.
Urrghh, I remember falling in love with them and your videos on them two years ago. Was so happy they finally renewed it till I found out Theo didn't want to come back. The difference between those videos and this one 🥲 this is still so beautiful however
I honestly had to look up how long it's been when I posted this! Two years doesn't feel real. But I'm glad you're still here! Hopefully season 2 will give us back some of that joy, even though Theo's not there
GOODBYE. This is so incredibly painful after that S2 opening. Genuinely so bummed we won't witness a resolution to this storyline, but I'm glad Charlotte is still as head-strong and dedicated despite all that's happened.

So I’m obsessed with your kanthony “dancing on my own” video which I rewatched for like a month straight every night, and then saw this and had this show on my list,.. even tho I knew it would end badly, I thought maybe I wouldn’t fall so hard and guard my heart… IT DIDNT WORK 😩😩😭😭😭😭 it hurts so bad!!!!!!! The angst, the sweet angst. And to know that they would have reunited in s2 if only damn Theo hadn’t left 😤 forever bitter. This video is just the final nail in the coffin, it’s crazy how a song from 2022 fits them perfectly? YOU DID THAT!
Also fun trivia, apparently Eliza is played by Theo’s RL wife. Haha haha not that it solves my heartache.
Anyway this is a masterpiece. I’m gonna go cry now.
I choose to see Theo leaving as a possible positive idea. Charlotte deserves someone who isn't constantly criticizing her or treating her like an unwanted child. Charlotte and Georgianna deserve better than that. The first man you fall in love with is not always the man you marry. Even Jane Austen knew this when she wrote Sense & Sensibility.
I think the new season was phenomenal given the MASSIVE pivot they had to make... And Arthur becoming a hero was worth the renewal.
@@witchyliz Most shows couldn't survive the set-backs Sanditon had. It goes to show the talent of the writers and actors that season 2 worked so well.

Predictable. Well is there a body? No, so what is to say Sidney won’t be resurrected later on. It has been done before. Maybe if Theo does not return they can provide a stand in…perhaps a tortured, scarred version which will replace him and give the story the closure it should have gotten three years ago! Charlotte you are the hero in all this …Jane Austen would be proud of you for your constancy. I can’t wait to see how they wrap this up I have a few theories. Carmel from Oz x

I stayed up all night and binged watched all of S1 to find out Sidney Parker dies in S2 and they don’t end up together WTF!! 😩😡As much as I would like to continue to watch I just cannot but maybe I’ll reconsider.

They really should've cancelled the second seasons when theo didn't sign back on. Their relationship was the entire reason we wanted a season two.
Why? I hate when people say that they should have just cancelled the upcoming seasons because he didn't want to come back. That is so selfish! So because Theo didn't want to come back, we have to shelve the rest of the show because they don't end up together?! There is so many new stories to tell about the characters of Sanditon.
You alone can just see the first season as it's own story without watching the remaining seasons.

I blame the people that cancelled it int he first place. What was Theo supposed to do wait around on the off chance they deigned to do another season? He has a production company, people he employs and he had commitments to new projects. He said a lot of stuff I think that was to try and give the audience some closure because I'm pretty sure in his experience the fan voice has never made TPTB reverse a decision 2 years down the track. But people hate on him, what about Leo ? What about Mark? No one hates on them.
This edit? Stunning... I thought I'd be mad that Theo wasn't back (if nothing else, he's so pretty that IDK if I want to giggle or cry when I look at his stupid face), but apparently, the writers came through handling an off-screen death and introducing the new guy (haven't seen it yet). Anyway, I just want to take a moment and imagine if this show with this plot had been fully written as a novel for Jane Austen's contemporary audience. The shocks and gasps... the drama... yeah, just picture the reactions they would have had.

that was it. The new season without him just seems stupid and useless. We loved the show because of them. But they just changed the main cast (or he didn't want to take part). Very depressing I must admit
