It was an amazing series. Rose Williams who plays Miss Charlotte Hayward is totally GORGEOUS - couldn't see any man not being intrigued by her. Yip the chemistry between them was superb but just maybe Mister Stringer was the better choice. he was far less complicated and recognised very quickly her TRUE worth. I agree a season 2 would be wonderful.
The discovery of witches aired last fall 2018 to Spring 2019 in USA. The crew began filming in June 2019 for Season 2. by the way the actress who plays Diana became pregnant during Season 1.👍✌
A version more mundane, rougher, less intelligent, less complex and less responsible than Mr. Darcy. But It seems all that doesn't matter, because Sidney is sexier for modern view.🙄

She wasn't even actively trying to change him either, he made realizations on his own. No one's perfect and if someone tries to be better, who are we to judge?

However I must say that It doesn't look like Austen, the dialogue is very obvious and the character's arcs are unlikely. I can't understand how they went from point A to B. I don't want anyone to be perfect, on the contrary, because Jane's characters are flawed. I just would like to believe in the personality of these characters.

Jane Austin didn't finish the novel. I'm sure, if she had time to finish it, the ending would have been absolutely different.
