Everly Brothers International Archive : Concert montage Sittard, The Netherlands, October 15 1972

- In October 1972 The Everlys visited The Netherlands as part of their European Tour. An avid Dutch Everly fan taped the show in Sittard (and a bit of the Arnhem show as well) with a Super 8 camera.
Even though the video quality (for obvious reasons) is not so good and the sound is often out of sync it is still a wonderful artifact of a bygone era. And of course a must see for every Everly fan !
Please visit our Everly Brothers International facebook page and our website : www.everly.net for the latest info on the World's No. 1 singing duo !
Phil is my favorite he's so sweet great song Phil..
Marina,
dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
RIP Phil💔 We'll never forget you.
I've been there in 1972, great concert from the boys. nice to see it again !!
What coincidence! I was there, too. Playing guitar behind them.😂
Marshall (Gino) Gunnels on drums and Ron Colman on Bass.
Phil never got enough credit!!! - he was incredible!!
billie Phil sings the lead on the great " It's all over " ..
and not to mention gorgeous!!
@@nataliedeshow768 omg girl - you are not kidding - crazy gorgeous !!! i wonder if he knew it - lol
billie ummm....pretty sure he did unless he was blind lol. I mean they were both good looking and very hot!!
billie it’s almost not fair, I mean they had it all!! Very very good looking and extremely talented!! I wonder what it must be like?? Oh and also legends and ridiculously successful too!!
Get downnnn!!!!!!!!!!! with the Everly Brother's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phil almost looks younger and healthier in this video than he did in videos from 5 years prior. The long 70s hair suited him.
They definitely look younger with the long hair and casual clothes, even though they're in their 30's.
More!!!!
Fantastic! I love the combination of early Everly and their solo songs like at 8:29 Phil singing Mabel’s Room.
The Everly Brothers are my cousins. In the 1970s their genealogists came from Kentucky to Maryland to ask my Grandparents about our side of the family. I have a second cousin I grew up around who could pass for Don Everly's brother, he looks more like him than Phil. lol That cousin could pick up any instrument and play, without lessons. I toured Europe with a singing group in the 80s, and then sung with rock bands. I do think there is a talent gene in some families.
I believe you're correct in saying it is in your genes.
My biggest regret is that I was not able to see them in person, I didn't have that kind of life but even bigger than that regret is that I never sat down and wrote a letter to tell them how much I loved them and how grateful I was for all the joy their songs brought me. They were who I always pictured when I heard Dream, Dream, Dream...
(I am a Susan soOOOOoo..)
They were truly phenomenal.
Soundtrack of my youth 🎼🖤
Awesome...🎶🎵❤️
@@sooz9433 Many wrote to them and represented what you wish you would have said. As long as their music is appreciated, they live on. Cheers!
It would be great if the original 8mm film still existed, as well as the original tape recording of the sound. Then the Film could be scanned in 2k and resynchronized with the sound! But it´s a treasure anyway ;)
Love them. Spent two years in Holland. Love it too! Thank you for posting.
Esto es hermoso, es la primera vez que veo a Phil Cantando Solo cuando aún estaba con su hermano.
Antes del fin.
I was there!!!!!!!
