- "These Green Mountains" is the official state song of Vermont. The song, composed by Diane Martin and arranged by Rita Buglass Gluck was made official on May 22, 2000, when then governor Howard Dean signed Act 99. The previous official state song of Vermont was "Hail to Vermont!".
As a Vermonter, this is truly a touching song to hear. o7 to those that died in the state of Vermont 😔✊

I may be a blow in to Vermont, but boy do I love this place. its funny seeing the clips of Burlington and knowing exactly where they were. like the tunnel to North beach!
The singer's voice is so natural and pure. She sounds so sincere in her love of Vermont, her "home state" that I got choked up.
I remember singing this growing up in school, this song can't be more true. These green mountains are my home ~~~~ despite the bipolar weather, I swear this is the only place you can get sunburn on top of your frost bite during the same day 😂

My friend hiked Mt. Mansfield yesterday... still snow up there, and it was a very cloudy day... yet somehow she has an incredible tan 😂

My teen brang me a few pretty white sparkly rocks from school, unusual......Im looking at these rocks and feeling like they mean something....Looking them up im discovering I believe they are white marble vermont rocks.....As Im looking into this i discover this vermont state song....its a beautiful song, feels like "heavenly presence" in this song to me......Im in and from Salem, Ma.... Not sure what this is supposed to mean to or for me..... Feels like these made thier way to me for some odd reason....Could it be past life??? Anyone have any ideas for me???? much appreciated :)
