Thank you greatly for this video. I currently use a speed rope when warming up for Muay Thai. I found your rope listed on Amazon and was happy to find this video. Very educational and convinced me to grab a second rope.

This video is very educational. It’s actually very surprising how hard it is to find information on what good weighted ropes actually should look like and be. Most “weighted” ropes on the market like Amazon are always just regular ropes (like 2/3 mm so not even rightly sized ropes) with weights inside the handle which isn’t entirely honest.
Even “Speed” ropes on the market are just regular 3 or 4mm PVC ropes with no weights are called as such even though they clearly aren’t actual thin Speed ropes for double-unders. It’s also annoying how most ropes do not state their thickness or weight so it makes it even more difficult to compare and consider ropes before buying.
Thanks for stating the best weighted rope measurements and their benefits 👌

Thanks for your feedback Bob. We agree that a lot of the "weighted ropes" on the market aren't serving the customer well. It's our desire to provide the best product and training tool. Keep an eye out for a new weighted rope later this year we hope is even more optimized for anaerobic training.

Hi i recently bought a weighted jump rope i think its weight will be around 250-300gms but when i try to jump for 75 jumps then i feel like extremely tired and gasping. Then next time I feel slightly feel afraid to do again. Is the fear is real or irrational.

Here is our piece of advice for you: Take more breaks, drink water, and work your way up to bigger durations as they feel better.

Generally speaking for fitness purposes would you suggest for MT rope to be on the shorter end of your range, especially if you're not doing complcated tricks with it? i.e. usual boxer moves and footwork.

The longer the rope, the more rope will be hitting the ground. This can cause a couple of issues, primarily the rope will lose it's shape and bounce when lots of it hits the ground, which causes missed and inefficiencies. Longer ropes are more forgiving when you are just getting started, but you should always be aspiring to a shorter rope and a more efficient spin. The Muay Thai 3.0 can be easily sized down. We recommend starting longer and sizing down as possible.

    How do you resize it?

Our Muay Thai rope is not able to be resized at this time. We sell three different lengths: 8ft (blue), 9ft (red), and 10ft (black).

started with a elitesrs boxer rope and then went to the eliteSRS muay thai rope and now I'm not coming back, I don't receive the dose of dopamine I need to start the day if I do my workout with a regular rope.

Gotta have that dopamine hit. The Muay Thai is more like a dopamine sucker punch though!

Yall need to come out with a 5 lbs weighted rope to compete with cross rope, the only 5 lbs ones I see are just the plastic "battle rope"/ boating rope kind that don't swivel and destroy my wrists because of it.
