I had placenta abruption at 38 weeks, but didn’t know while I was in Labour. Went in Labour at 1 cm and 4cm was bleeding heavily and doctors plus midwife couldn’t tell were the blood was coming from… at first they thought it’s a Show meaning womb or uterus is preparing for birth but unfortunately it was not the case… at 4 cm I continue to loose a lot of blood and my doctor decided to make a decision that this a life threatening situation and had to do an emergency c-section… mind you this is my third pregnancy and it was my first time doing a c-section. All we can do is praise God and without him we are nothing 🙏Grace of God🙏
How is your baby,im afraid my wife also had placenta abruption, and i read alot in article that the child may have learning disabilities,i hope is not true, im so worried about my son future
I had this happen to me with my second child my son Jaxon. I ended up delivring very quickly once it was discoverd and he was full term. however my uterus never recoverd so i had a full hystorectomy 5mo post birth and i was 25. I had a 3 yr old daughter and a son so i felt blessed.

Im a surviving baby from this. I was born at 31 weeks.
